My uSDR Transceiver: is it repairable?

My uSDR encoder dial seized up, so I figured I'd give a shot at repairing it. Will it work, or will it be dead forever?

Hey Bob. I had to replace the encoder on my Alinco DX-70 awhile back. It took a little while to get that solder while trying not to melt the other components around it. I was successful and relieved that I didn't turn my radio into a brick! 73 de N4UVR
