Not to mention, these students didn't "pay for" that building. It was built in 1907. Their tuition helps maintain it, but tuition accounts for just 24% of Columbia University's revenue. So the students only cover a 24% share of the cost of maintaining (and now, repairing) that building.

@@Herb615 And abandon the protests? A better idea seems to allow the students to bring in the food instead of blocking it
If students want to participate in the university meal plan, then they can willingly leave the building they are illegally occupying.
The spokesperson even said she didn’t even know if Columbia was blocking them from getting food. So her whole demands are moot. I agree with Robby, they sound like privileged, elitist students who demand the world while having us middle class pay for their education.
She contradicted herself in regards to "humanitarian aid" plus im pretty sure these adults not kids at the college wont starve to do death while illegally occupying the building they took over...what a joke, they are protesting for the Palestinian civilians who are actually starving and victims of this war Hamas started and like a typical selfish entitled American she mentions them starving to death...smh i cant believe this is the future
Haha bri is having a rough day.
.🎉😢🎉😂😢
Brianna is soooooooo unlikable
How can anyone have chemistry with Bri. She’s acted disgustingly lately.
Brianna thinks she’s in high school sophomore AP seminar class where the impulse for teachers pets is to argue everything regardless of the absurdity.
In other words, basically Brianna is playing with her own poo at this point.
Bri is a Harvard grad.
Ah, a Grad of the Confucius Institute, perhaps? How CCP she be!
And Kamala Harris is a lawyer -- just as unbelievable.
Spoiler: her education didn't 'take'.
WOW, Bri is a hot mess. So not collected, objective, or professional. Way to go The Hill.
if a protestor got within 500 yds of brianas gated armed community she’d call the police
BJG is this far from a total mental breakdown 🤏🏻
She will take tomorrow off.
Who can blame her when she has to deal with Robbie's lies & idiotic comments!
@@michellenorris8471which "lie". I'm genuinely curious.
@@randyrenner7643 Pay closer attention than.
Some of the language she used ("humanitarian") was drama queen, _but the request itself was fine._
Brie should just join the protest frontline & leave journalism to those who seek truth & are not interested in spreading propaganda.
I applaud Robby for laughing 2:57! 😂👏 A solid response, and one we should see far more regularly. Like several times per segment.
His laugh said it all about her ridiculous argument She is clearly losing it
Briahna, she kept changing her mind... first they had to bring food to them, then they shouldn't stop food from coming in and finally she actaully didn't know if they were stopping it or not. Stop making excuses.. it was a ridiculous interview
You try working with the guy who tries to laugh like the joker but instead just looks pathetic. Because when people can't articulate a good counter argument or just win an argument in general they laugh and try to make it look like they won or don't care. LOL
This is brilliant ! I can't wait to rewatch this on sitch & adam. The semantics games Bri plays are epic. I haven't given a thumbs up in months. Today is the day !
Oh god Bri. They are not stopping anyone from eating…
I don’t think I can ever see Bri the same again after hearing her take on this 😭 If the tables were reversed and it was right-wing extremists she would be losing her mind.
They can go get food. Bri is a liar: from the Columbia Spectator: Students on dining plans that do not live in on-campus residence halls may swipe into Grace Dodge Dining Hall, located at Teachers College, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to the Office of the President email. All other Morningside campus dining halls are restricted to students who live in on-campus residence halls. A subsequent announcement.
Bri, she has no knowledge of food or water being blocked.
Furthermore, protest or not, they are breaking the law. No one is obligated to help them do so, least of all the entities against who's laws are broken.
Bri is making Rising unwatchable
Robbie's anime villain arc is the best thing on the news.
She wants the university to follow the rules while allowing these people to Break not only campus rules but the federal law.
@desi4227 ; Which federal law are the students breaking?
@@schicco Breaking university policies. CU is a private university
You can not occupy a space illegally in a peaceful protest. You can not impede on regular persons engaged in legal and expected activities.
They are supposed to be somewhere and be loud and support their cause and then leave and come back. Every day. I know. It’s inconvenient but not everyone is on board with everyone else so we have laws to allow free speech but that doesn’t mean you get all the speech and rights because you are having a feeling.
What federal law? They are within their rights and they paid for services. Their protest isn't illegal nor should it be made illegal.
@@stevenbaker7894 Its private property. Can I come to your house and occupy your basement in the name of a protest?
Thank you Robbie for laughing at the obvious. Starving them out? 😂😂
If someone breaks into my home, continues to illegally occupy my home, places an Uber Eats order (and pays for said order), then protests when I block her from receiving that purchased food….am I (the home owner) in the wrong? Christ, listen to how ridiculous these arguments sound.
Oppression Envy.
God bless this dear revolutionary for fighting for basic humanitarian chicken nuggies for starving Ivy League students.
Keeps calling Robbie a liar. Wow.
Liar is what you call people who know they speak falsely. The other option is abject hypocrisy.
Just like his Israeli heroes
That is a bad look for the show
I tried, but I cannot listen to Brie. I feel sorry for her. No empathy at all for those who disagree with her viewpoint.
Are you sure you know what the word empathy means?
I damm for sure can't take robby
Hahaaaaa
Yeah shes tough to isten to
@@pickj76I think you’re getting stupidity and empathy confused.
They can either leave when they get hungry and thirsty, or they can stay and see how that works for them. What they are doing is illegal and they should do hard time for it.
The arrogance. The entitlement. It's breathtaking. ‘We want to be revolutionaries, we want to take over this building, now would you please bring us some food and water’.’ because "hey, I have a meal plan!"
This student represents everything wrong with this country.
Mind Begs the Question:
- If USA/West Leadership
- Arm,Bankroll a State whose policies are
- Starvation,Death Camps,Gas Chambers/White Phosphorus,Pogroms,Ethnic Cleansing,etc
- As complicit as Nazis for Holocaust,no?
Why? For protesting a genocide?
I really don't know how Robbie does it, BJG to anyone who disagrees with her "oh, so you're lying again"... no one on that side of this discussion, including that student protester who had shifted what she was saying in real time, is showing much poise nor are they all that articulate unfortunately, BJG included
This is a joke. Such brave revolutionaries willing to sacrifice everything except their meal plan, and I’m on the side of the protestors. Duh looks bratty
The meal plan is being cited because it is literally a contractual obligation for students to be provided (not delivered as Robbie is saying) food. It's being cited as reason for the university to not deny food entry. Full stop. Do oppose food entering? I'm sure many of them would go without food *if they had to* but why do that unless your purposefully engaging in hunger strike? If they did that, would you support them? Whereas demanding food be allowed to enter is worthy of scorn? I'm sure you think you're pro-protestor, but you really don't sound like it....
Oh my Lord. Bri has completely jumped the shark.
I’m pretty sure you’re allowed to leave to go get something to eat and drink
But the cafeterias are shut down? I'm not sure. Still, will they be allowed back into the building they took over and plumage?
The look on her face while Rob is speaking is priceless. Looks like she just got her candy taken away!
They didn't close the cafeteria, that I can see. It appears that Bri may be the one lying. What has happened to her? I used to not agree with her many times, but lately she has just been horrible.
The students don't have to enroll next semester if they don't want their money going into the Columbia endowment investments.
No one took the food away. She was talking about a hypothetical situation. The gates were closed to keep Non campus students and personnel out of the campus.
