Little known fact outside of the rodeo community- Karl Malone is a fan of bull riding. The first time I was at the Delta Center he came down to meet the bull riders and after he had, he wanted to help sort the bulls! To me, he came off as the most genuine guy the world. Not to be hating on the Jazz, but anyone care to guess how many rings he would be wearing if he had played in Chicago, LA, Boston, or even San Antonio?

I noticed that many felt what Karl needed judging as if they qualified as Malone's father. Seems wholly patriarchal. Often we assume a role in relationships and Karl often played along to get alone. See, black folks put various folks in family positions like Cuz, Sis, etc. I could feel the love ithers all had for him. From Louisiana to Utah is enough trauma for a 33 yr old person!! At 23?? All love.

I really don’t care for the Utah Jazz but that 90s squad was fun to watch lead by both John Stockton and Karl Malone. Damn shame both of them never won a championship cause of MJ and unfortunately for Karl Malone in 2004, that close to win a chip with the Lakers if it wasn’t for Kobe (God rest his soul) being a ballhog. I also gotten familiar with most of the 90s players cause of NBA Jam (Stockton and Malone are a top tier duo in the game LOL), plus Malone was freaking jacked, if he would’ve retired in the late 90s he would’ve been a decent wrestler considered that him and Rodman both appeared in WCW.
