Nice hunt savannah! Question, my family is throwing around the idea of moving to the east coast, maybe Carolinas, Florida, or alabama possibly. Maybe phoenix. What state do you hunt? Also, all ive hunted is land and freshwater lakes when its warm enough (Colorado). How big of a learning curve is the switch to beach hunting? Also what parts of the year is it warm enough to detect in the water where you are? Bases on your experience, giw far in do the sharks come? Say i dont go deeper than thigh deep, would i be fairly safe from sharks? If w
I live in south Georgia. Sharks are in all salt water, but humans are not on their menu. I try to stay out of the water in the dark. Water here is still cold until around May.
What headlamp do you use? I got the sofrin hs41 and I like it alright, it's a cold white light I think the emmiters might be sst-40's which are not the best cri, yesterday's emitters I was also looking at maybe getting the Emisar right angle light, but it takes a 18650 and I like 21700s generally because they hold more power,, but I mean I could always carry an extra battery with me There's a few other ones that might make more sense than the Emisar though, because a hotrod light doesn't make much sense as a head lamp, but it runs Anduril 2 so I could set it up at a power level that doesn't over heat
