    I love both channels, when I built mine I used a bees wax to put fitting together. That way nothing separated the parts when dumping grain etc. But a simple heat gun and fittings come right apart...also finding good barrels to use is hard to do as well.

    • @TheShineshack
      @TheShineshack  6 месяцев назад +1

      That's a good idea... Barrels around me are everywhere 😆 I can get 10 gallon up to 60 gallon and in-between 😂

      The mash Barrel? If you search FB marketplace you should be able to find them in your area it's just a food grade plastic barrel

    Where do you get your regular blue barrel fermentor?

    • @TheShineshack
      @TheShineshack  6 месяцев назад +1

      I look on Facebook marketplace for around $30 usually you kind find them in your area pretty much anywhere make sure it's food grade and didn't have chemicals or anything stored in them but you can buy them online new but they are really pricey

    Can you use this for brandy or only for grain?

    • @TheShineshack
      @TheShineshack  4 месяца назад

      I haven't tried it on a brandy yet but I know fruit is different it clogs up my strainer bad I always do a very chunky coarse grind with grain and with fruit I want it like apple sauce when possible I would imagine it might clog up with fruit I need to test it out I'm doing a peach brandy soon as it starts to cool down outside some
