Lol. I've given up checking my stats. Readers inform me they liked it and would review it, yet zero so far.

What helped me is reaching out to people on my launch team (text or email) and asking them what they thought of it and their favorite lesson/part. Once they responded I asked them to copy and paste their response and post it in the review section and resent them the link. Didn’t have a 100% conversion rate but I sweeped up a few more! ❤️🤘🏻

I'm actually a client of the selfpublishing school, the original statement about the book launch team "get all your friends, family, colleagues to buy and review." is actually a bad practice. Unless all of your friends and family are actively buying books that are the same genre and have a history of purchasing books like the one you are launching, then it can actually harm your long term sales to bloat your initial sales with those buyers.
Amazon will start marketing your book to people like the ones buying your book, which could be a completely wrong audience since your grandma usually buys cook books and your book is hard scifi. Then when no one they are marketing your book to are buying, amazon will think no one is interested in your book. That's bad and what happened to me during my first launch causing me to have to relaunch it properly.
