@@DDG-Downfall well, I need full joint replacement for both my shoulders, but I haven’t let that slow me down. I still do my daily 3 AM ride: 6 miles in 17 minutes. Great way to sweat it out and energize for the coming day, and I’m STILL completely hooked!

@@untappedstrength7548 I did two rounds of this workout before training back and I loved it. Glad I’m no longer just walking by the bike. It’s hard to get motivated to do cardio and this is definitely an easy solution to that problem.
Thanks for the great reviews of the Echo. They played a big part in my decision to buy. I put mine together today and and did my first 4 minute HIIT. What a quad killer. Definitely going to take some time to get the legs conditioned enough to be able to achieve a decent cardio workout.
Finally able to get in a decent 4 minute Tabata routine without my quads giving out. I think I'm going to get a lot of use out if this. The biggest difference between doing tabatas on this and the treadmill is that the treadmill doesn't let you slack off. You maintain a set speed and jump on and off the belt. With the Echo you have the option to slow a bit if you need to. I bought all the options and I would say the fan guard is a must. The wind blowing in my face was very annoying.
I'm doing 1 min fast, 30 seconds slow, 30 second stop. 10 minute workout and I'm soaked. Funny thing is I don't start sweating until it's over. Probably because of the wind. Lol.
I use my air dyne 6 days a week have a few different workouts I use always Hiit the best workouts ever I’m 63 been training for 40 years this I find is the best workout for me
I just got mine this week. It is by far the most difficult cardio I've done my entire life, and I used to play football, baseball and run track in high school. The only 2 other forms of cardio I would even compare is swimming and the concept 2 rowing machine...but this even beats those 2. I noticed drastic cardiovascular performance improvements literally after just the first workout!
The only other thing I would add is that I actually got a Raze Renegade Airbike (which tbh is same as Airbike as some other makes like Cascade, JTX and others). Love the fact that mine is shorter and narrower frame yet still weighs slightly over 70kg and in no ways feels any inferior to Rogue which is completely over priced outside of US. I am in UK and Rogue prices are ridiculous here (understand that in US they are good value).
I love my echo bike too. I did 3 rounds of 8 intervals. That was hard and fun. You should get a polar heart rate monitor. I have one and to see my hr go up as I workout is fun too.
Please share your cadence, watts, speed and distance readings for each of the 8 rounds so that I can use it as a benchmark to gauge my performance. Thanks
You actually don't need that information. A 10/20 HIIT is simply going as hard as you can for 10 second, then rest 20 second and start again for 8 rounds. This is different for each individual.
Come on man, show the results from the display! What were your max and average watts? Cadence? How many calories did you burn? How did those numbers compare to your 20-10 Tabata ride (which I watched, thanks!). Just tried this bike for the first time today at the local gym, the 20-10 program, and while it kicked my butt I really liked doing it. Now I'm hooked.
I have one of these arriving in 2 days. I’m very excited about adding it to my garage gym. This will be my first time with one, is 10 secs on 20 off really THAT tough? It seems like I’d wanna do more than 8 rounds, at least. Am I underestimating this thing, and it’s gonna kick my ass?? What about just doing some steady state cardio at a reasonable pace for 30-40 mins straight. Is that possible? Thanks

I used to do this routine on a treadmill at the gym. I tell people it's a near death experience. I'd get all stressed out before I did it in anticipation of the pain I was about to endure. I quit my gym during the lockdown and now I'm close to buying an Echo so I can get back to the pain😅
This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
What were your numbers on that interval man? I’ve been doing 20/10s but I have an open challenge for anybody that can keep above 400 watts for 2 minutes straight . Brutal bike
I have an air bike as well that i recently bought. The only thing im curious about is the resting time, I mean is it a good idea to stop like that from high pase?
I’m just about to purchase this bike! I’m a serious runner and cyclist and I’m also serious about strength training! Would this be a good option to get leaner? And do you incorporate strength training exercises with this! I could tell Doing this and then going straight to barbell curls or squats would kill you! Would this be good for muscle gain in the arms since your using arms? Would you feel any sort of Dom’s in triceps after using this? Thanks
I would say this bike is good for all the above. I use it primarily as a way to warmup before my weight training as it helps loosen up my joints and gets the blood flowing. Or in my cardio days I will sit on it and either do interval training or long rides up to 30+ minutes.
My rack is a PRX cause im determined to still park in the garage. But other than that, we have almost the exact same gear haha. Also, the phone attachment or the ECHO is the most useless thing. We tackled assembling the bike as a family project. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxzg0clhbtRf2gGxPkVETFKJJKGqdsorQu The package is heavy, but I have 2 teen boys that were able to move it. The written instructions were great- we didn't need to watch the videos, but it was good knowing that the option was there if we needed it. After we were able to get it set up, the boys each rode 3 miles and I rode 8 and the bike stayed quiet. The display is easy to reset, and you can put it on whichever setting you are using (time, distance, calories, etc). I will say that my butt is a little sore from the seat, but that could be because I haven't rode in a while. While it is comfortable for me, it was not comfortable with the seat position for my friend (could not move the seat back far enough and he slightly looked like a kid riding a tricycle that he had outgrown). He also said that the seat hurt his manly parts. We are going to look for a different seat that will be compatible with this bike for him.I did purchase the Wahoo Cadence sensor and strapped it to the crank of one of the pedals. This will sync with my Apple Watch, iPhone and will import data in to my Health app. Wahoo does have other sensors available other than cadence. I can also keep either my phone or my iPad on the display and they both feel pretty secure.

Hi! Thank you for the video! I've been using the AD7 from Schwinn. I like getting up from my seat and do the stand riding thing. It was mentioned that the handlebars would hit you in the stomach? I would appreciate your help!
I have tried riding standing but as you already heard from others, it is challenging as the arms do get in the way. Not impossible, just not comfortable for a long time.
