Great video of an outstanding museum managed to visit while in Australia on holiday back in January 24, managed to catch the Neptune and Tracker landing back from a local fly past on Australia Day. Will be uploading that video for my channel soon.🇦🇺🇬🇧👍
That sure is an interesting aviation museum, Mark. I will ensure I call in next time I head down the South Coast of NSW. I was fortunate enough to fly in the Caribou plane a few times when I participated in the former Joint Australian/US Military Kangaroo (Skippy) Exercises in Shoalwater Bay, Queensland in the late 1970s. It was well suited for Australian outback rough landing conditions & its STOL capabilities. TAA (we used to call it Try Another Airline) was the first airline I flew in over 40 years ago (Cairns to Brisbane). Thank you for sharing.
Its very local for you Dennis. You should definitely check it out. A great bunch of people there as well. There is another branch out at Parkes which I should check out next time I'm in the area. The Caribou seems like a great aircraft. The STOL capability is very much required for the bush and the sort of strips out there.
@@TravelwithMark I know there is an Air Museum at Temora - also on my list. Will need to check about Parkes -I know it is becoming a major train container hub.

@dennisforner6090 I did not know about the one at Temora. I'll put it in my list!
