- लता मंगेशकर से दो साल छोटी बहन मीना मंगेशकर द्वारा लिखी मराठी किताब 'मोठी तिची सावली' का हिंदी रूपांतरण 'दीदी और मैं' का विमोचन 29 सितंबर को मुंबई में किया जाएगा, जिसकी प्रस्तावना अमिताभ बच्चन ने लिखी है. इस किताब में उल्लेखीत तमाम रोचक संस्मरणों में से कुछ रोचक किस्से मीना मंगेशकर ने एबीपी न्यूज़ को दिये विशेष इंटरव्यू में सुनाए. मीना ने लता के साथ अपने बेहद करीबी रिश्ते को बयां करते हुए कहा कि लता ने बचपन से उनके साथ दोस्त और मां की तरह बर्ताव किया और उन्हीं की छत्रछाया में सभी भाई-बहनों की अच्छी देखभाल और परवरिश हुई. मीना ने पिता दीनानाथ के अचानक हुए निधन से 12 साल की लता के स्वभाव में आई तब्दीली और परिपक्वता को भी विस्तार से बयां किया. मीना ने बताया कि कैसे लता का स्वभाव बेहद मजाकिया और चंचल हुआ करता था. मीना ने बताया कि लता को गाने का बहुत शौक था और वो हर वक्त गाना गाती रहती थीं. लता ने एक बार संत तुकाराम और देवदास नामक फ़िल्में देखीं और घर में आकर उसका नाट्य रूपांतरण किया. ऐसे कई और मजेदार और अनसुने किस्से मीना मंगेशकर ने सुनाए.
