When I saw it in person, I was surprised by how accurate it was. From the flat magnet poles to the chrome block saddles, it really looks period correct. The only thing that is not accurate are the body contours. '70s Strat body contours are pretty shallow.

I am a Japanese guitar lover Today, late 70s strat especially hard tail is really difficult to get in Japan. Also, very rare antigua finish, now price gonna be sky high. For me, this is my dream strat. I had antigua Fujigen copy model before, but it's made by bass wood, not good electric parts, yap, that's not fit for me. Finally, I found one of a kind for me. Thank you for fender and great demo. Me and my parents really love to listening Police, Chic, some other late 70s to early 80s hit charts. Thease songs very popular in Japanese disco too. So sorry for Such a long sentence.

Fender is going to take all my money this year. I initially thought this was ugly but it grew on me and made me view it as "dirty" in a good way.

Why a Hard tail on a Strat? I would have preferred the tremolo version along with the hard tail.

I just found out that this is the only model in the 70's line that's MIM. Sort of a turn-off personally.
