Bloody beautiful Ben. Each shot is a still with so much story and detail within it. Definitely my favourite piece of work you’ve done, as it’s so different to the oversaturated travel film market. Feels like something from the early 1930s film era 🎥
This feels so pure and as if I was stepping into someone's life, actually more like dreams because... once this was captured, it's not real anymore but it's a piece of art.
Hey! How are you? :) I loved your mini film! I was wondering if I could use some of your footage for a music video I am making! I would obviusly put you in the credits! Let me know please!! love,x
@@BenMikha thanks again. Great clip . For all your 500T exterior footage did simply colour correct the blue cast out due colour balance in grading or used colour correction filter on lens?
Can I ask how you got rid of the film holes I usually see on the left side of super 8 film videos? Did you edit it out or what camera did you use to not have that?
such a feeling you conveyed. really appreciate the work man! keep it up! I’m so interested in the music honestly. may I know where/how can I find it? is it your own reverb version of the original?
I have watched some of your videos and they are just so beautiful and mesmerizing. Truly, filmmaking is an art in itself.

What a beautiful channel! Lovely work!
Really liked the style. I think that's a Mabo frame. Music really suited too.
Absolutely killed it. Loved the percussions and that ending was awesome!

What super 8 camera did you use for the aspect ratio? Beautiful imagery!

love it ! must have been so much work to produce.
Beautiful as always Ben, and resonates as I'm trying to navigate the most work intensive chapter of my life to date. Anyway, we should go play! x
When we’re back lets go
did you just ask the ppl if you could record them? (where is the basketball place?) :)
And which super 8 Camera did you use? :)
Hey, do you have that "film border" to download or something?
Any filters on this? This is how it looks right out the camera?
No filters but I colour graded the footage in Davinci Resolve, mostly just enhancing the original colours from the stock (50D mostly + 500T)
Damn that’s dope, how much did it cost for the film and processing for this 4 min video?
@@yz416 it costed me around $2000NZD for the film costs alone (2min stock + scan in the lab)
Interesting. When was it recorded?
Did you manual setting on the beaulieu 4008 ? Since your exposure does not change during filming?
Yeah all Manual I never use auto, avoids unwanted flicker
@@BenMikha thanks again. Great clip . For all your 500T exterior footage did simply colour correct the blue cast out due colour balance in grading or used colour correction filter on lens?
How did you guess it’s beaulieu 4008?
Amazing footage but I’m confused, this seems like way more resolution than super 8mm and it’s in widescreen?
it's just a crop + scanned in 4k
what font did you use in the beginning of the video
hello! Are you mixed melody of clair de lune by yourself or can you provide link please?
Which film was used for sunset?
How do you get that aspect ratio??
This is awesome! What resolution did you do ?
Scanned to 4K and exported at UHD
Can I ask how you got rid of the film holes I usually see on the left side of super 8 film videos? Did you edit it out or what camera did you use to not have that?
crop in, overscan will come with the sprockets, you can reframe from there
