There is no chance that Felipe will win. Gordon surpassed his level a long time ago. This "rivalry" only exists in the world of ideas; on the mat, the technical level has been far apart for a long time.

The issue is pena has been using the exact same jiu jitsu and same skill level for years 50/50 bear trap back take off the saddle etc where as guys like gordon jones meragali pato musumeci etc improved showing new stuff over th last 5-10 years.... that said he's definitely world class and has made that game work his entire career.
Gordon figured out felipes only way to victory is to take back off of a leg lock, once gordon stopped trying leg locks on Felipe he had no chance.

It’s the athletes, and there are great athletes on both sides that would be great to see BTS footage of. It’s great for the sport in general.

If Gordon is sick he might just finish pena quick, that’s probably the reality of the match. I would suspect the next person to beat Gordon multiple times is probably 13 years old or something and won’t have a chance until 2030+. Upsets happen though. There might be some people in new wave that have a shot, maybe if they jump ship to b team and compete against him, who knows. If Pena wins, it’ll be because Gordon was sick. If Gordon wins, it’ll be because he’s Gordon. I’m guessing quick finish via leg attack.
