In my opinion, there are some questions with time expression which is not pertaining to PRESENT PERFECT TENSE. However, the answer is not also agreed in some questions.
Yes me too. I'm very worry about some question and answers. Can i explain someone that question . Plz
True
The first question the answer could be I have been living here all my life. Not, I have lived here….
There is more than 3 tenses in this video please don't confuse us ..... It's been hard enough...
Yes
Yes
In my exam there will be 6 or smth🙏
I agree👍
Yes that is true
Present perfect and past simple
I got twenty right one's
Mistake questions
The sentence "Open a window-someone's been smoking in here" is correct. It is in the present perfect continuous tense, indicating that someone has been smoking in the past, and the effects or evidence of it persist into the present.
but the questions inciude only present perefct
So what's the difference
These questions makes me so confused but thank you for giving these questions.
What's so astonishing: I answered correctly all but one the questions but I'm not always able to explain why it's so. I simply feel that this one is right and that one is wrong. Of course the easiest part was with "since" and various indications of the past like "last week" or "yesterday". You see "since" - it's definitely Present Perfect. You see smth like "yesterday" or "last week" - it's Past Simple in this test. The most difficult was the 1st question for me. I chose the option "I've been living here all my life".
I guess "I've been living here all my life" is also correct, if you're still living in that place
Grammarly speaking for question number 1, the answer "I've been" is used for present perfect continuous. But in that case, then you should mention the specific of elapsed or starting time. For example "I've been living here for 5 years" or "I've been living here since I was a child"
Yes it is the same for me.
I just guess the answer and I am always right, but I can't explain why.😢
Past simple, present perfect and present perfect continuous.
I got 10 out of 21. It was very challenging. I appreciate it.
Very good! Congratulations!
I’m from Brazil 🇧🇷
That's very helpful.
Thanks!
Unfortunately I got 16 out of 22 in this completely challenging grammar test. I need to pay attention to the next conditional or the expressions of time to be able to break it down when it comes to solving those sentences by considering past, present or future perfect tense. Anyhow, thanks a lot.
15/20 thank you , I am trying ,but sometimes I confused ! But thank you so much ❤️💪
theres 22 questions but ok
why its so hard
In the first question both of the answers are correct. We can use "i've lived here all my life" and "i've been living here all my life" there's no differences .
I share the same opinion.
