- Aalen is a former Free Imperial City located in the eastern part of the German state of Baden-Württemberg, about 70 kilometres east of Stuttgart and 48 kilometres north of Ulm. It is the seat of the Ostalbkreis district and is its largest town. It is also the largest town in the Ostwürttemberg region.

Aalen is really stuck in time - i grew up there and for the past 20 years i barley recognize that modernization has been made except Bahnhofsplatz, ZOB and a few Buildings in the city center. Still everything is grey and depressing (Of course the weather plays into that to be fair). For some people this is a good sign, not changing things - for me, im glad i moved out - there are clearly better ways to maintain tradition. Also i recognized, you wasn't really in Aalen, you drove on the outer City Ring and left aalen at 6:50min wich is Wasseralfingen-Aalen. Thanks for he video tho, it reminded me that i made the right decision to leave town and finally last year even left the country 😂
