I was abruptly terminated from the contract and escorted out of the building to my car and off the base by police. I am a USMC veteran. Seems pretty obvious and reasonable. No one is saying they don’t deserve to play sports we’re just saying with new information comes new rules. Title 9 was written to protect women and not allow discrimination on the basis of sex. The Biden administration recently tried to clarify who was included in title 9 protection and if states didn’t follow this new guidance they wouldn’t be eligible for federal funds. The Supreme Court ruled against the Biden administration 9-0. Thank God we have a Supreme Court that rules on facts not feelings.

      @janaklein3518 26 дней назад

      @xaspirate8060 agree. We are in an unprecedented time where each of the incremental changes over the last 75 years seemed like good things. Humans don't immediately see incremental change... but when all the pieces come together into something so exponentially damaging and we realize they've actually been k_____g us with our own kindness. Those who fought the little increments in the beginning may have been turds (trying not to get deleted here), and now too many of us silence ourselves because we think we're alone, or too few, or maybe I am a turd after all...
      I've been outspoken in my own community since the late 90s (L) and am a pariah for consistently saying we've been going down a bad path and allowing ourselves to be used politically. For saying leave the kids alone. For saying Christianity and homosexuality aren't mutually exclusive--we are responsible for our own behavior, and sin is a choice... and the last several years, I'm really a pariah for saying, "Leave the kids alone!!" But all my brothers and sisters could see was that we were going to get the "right" to marriage, and they think I'm the turd for believing that we'd be fine with civil unions without appropriating the religious custom of marriage.
      My career (dog handler) has suffered when I've spoken out against the negative changes in animal care that have paradoxically come with more animal rights...
      I'd never touched the big R, being raised in NM where history is all about the bomb & environment. But when I researched the crazy statistics of T, and realized that rights have been redefined in all three of these areas as something ugly just by replacing a few words with similar words that have very different meanings... I can't just be a pariah and grumble alone. We've been tricked into giving up our children's right to exist. We're at a time where if we don't speak, find each other, stand together, help each other to common ground, we'll be gone within a few generations along with our companion species.
