If he plays Bolas, he can relatively safely set himself up to win through enemy responses. With the number of rocks he had, there are many ways for him to net mana and card draw. Making him relatively interaction-proof The second reason is that when he tinkers, he oftentimes didn't have the 1 mana for activating the key.
@@BasemanW Alternatively; "BOLAS' CITADEL GO BRRRR THOUGH (i am an idiot)" - PleasantKenobi. Tinkering for Vault instead of Citadel was the right play.
@@BasemanW both times he had tinker + a key he had the mana to activate key. also he would have already been interaction proof with vault + key by taking infinite turns.
I love the punts for two reasons. One, they're the same kinda punts most people make on MTGO. Two, you (almost) never let it tilt you. Vince, setting a good example? Don't tell anyone
14:20 I'm begging you, tinker for the time vault and just take infinite turns. You already have the key. You tinkered and the vault is right there! Please! He did get there, but.... It took more work than needed. Lol Edit: He did it again at 19:04. Please. Tinker fetches both halves of your combo.
Love the gameplay (and the break from all the MTG drama)! Would love to see more cube gameplay; I've been getting into designing a Pioneer Cube myself, since I'm not as available to play 60 card Pioneer at my LGS at the moment.
Really enjoyed watching this - I've never drafted a cube and this one looks like a great time and some really good Magic. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these gameplay videos.
Owwwww Ouch ouchie.... I was yelling and screaming in my car while driving home listening to this.. but also love the vintage cube plz and thank you 😊 BEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!! -Lt. MilkBeard
@PleasantKenobi match 2, you used top's ability to look at the top 3 cards of your library, instead of tapping top to make it the top card of your library. Not a grunted win, but would have made a lot of clue tokens to sac with citadel's activated ability Edit: game 2 of round 1*
man I got so weirded out seeing opponents with the same cards. I have played some vintage cube in paper, where that is pretty much impossible. I think I prefer it that way.
i don't understand why he didn't just tinker time vault every time he had a key instead of citadel.

@@SnowyGrass some people hate infinite turns
Bad at the game

20:00 gadgeteer and monolith is infinite mana letting you draw your deck with clues from top
I was going to say the same thing lol. We still love Vince regardless.
I noticed it in the edit. I was too excited about setting up counterspells on the top of my deck.

when you wheeled tinker in the last pack, 'This deck is absolutely cracked" GL mate!
Yes more vintage cube plz
This might be my new favorite version of the vintage cube. SO powerful and SO many unhinged combos, its great
this might be my favourite draft of all time what a sick deck, the absolute last look tinker is wild
Game one why didn’t we just tinker for time vault? Lol this deck was sweet tho

That deck was bonkers, and I loved the video! I really enjoy Cube content in general so yeah I for one would to see more.
More cube please.
More cube sir.
Love the cube content and would love to see more
More cube please! Cube is easily the best way to play Magic, and the best to watch.
Love the vintage cube content!
4:10 pyrogoyf not even getting an honorable mention is CRIMINAL
Ah I see someone is an lsv enjoyer
@@jamesgreenwood1703 I mean yeah but I also play vintage cube and started first picking pyrogoyf before I ever saw LSV comment on it
@ goat player shit fr
***Engagement*** Thanks for the cube draft. keep em coming please
Gleemox is in the Vintage Cube? Phenomenal.
Basalt monolith + gadgeteer is also infinite mana for what it's worth. Sick deck!

Might be in the minority but I prefer the Gameplay videos to most opinion/news videos
Plus Cube is class, keep it up Vince 👍
This is exactly the kind of depravity I watch Vintage (Cube) content for ;)
Living the LSV artefact dream is the best
Noice, made me want to play old school magic!
Oh shit, they put Time Vault in Vintage Cube? That's disgusting, can't wait to draft it.
You always tinkered into citadel when you could've just tinkered into time vault? With keys on the field even.
BOLAS GO BRRRRRR
@PleasantKenobi i think infinite turns go just as brrrrr
Yes, Vintage Cube!! Engagement engagement!!!
17:39 Reading is hard : "the first card clicked will be the last card drawn"
8:20 I’m guessing he saw the pestermite and decided it was too late to splash the combo.
Watching you ignore citadel + top combo was painful
Uhhhh.... did I?

I vote yes for cube content!
Do more of this
wow this deck was insane, no removal no problem
Can also use top +key to draw 2 cards
love me some cube
17:40 you could be drawing an extra card each turn with your 1 mana rather than looking at cards
man I got so weirded out seeing opponents with the same cards. I have played some vintage cube in paper, where that is pretty much impossible. I think I prefer it that way.
Dont let the comments section keep you from Tinkering for that Bolas 😆 gave the games some spice lol
People don't understand my complex and high level plays.
With citadel and top you can just go draw with top play top from library repeat
I want to build a physical vintage cube using proxies. Where do I find this cube list?
It's the MTGO Vintage Cube December 2024. Give it a Google. Be warned, it's intentionally pushed to be a combo/broken mess this season.
what the hell is that mox? 16:00
Gleemox, not a real card effectively a power 10 card
What software or site is this?
mtgo. says what it is right above comments section.
magic the gathering online. its an older mtg platform.
OOOOF 😂 😅 Good to see new players in the game, but still ouch.
