  • A traumatic brain injury (TBI) such as a concussion can have a devastating impact on the victim, often with life-changing consequences.
It is important to seek treatment for a concussion as soon as possible. If you have received a blow to the head, and are experiencing symptoms of a concussion, you should see a doctor immediately. Some of the common symptoms of a concussion include:
    Headaches
    Nausea or vomiting
    Confusion and disorientation
    Depression
    Fatigue and difficulty sleeping
    Sleeping too much
    Black outs
    Slurred Speech
    Problems with focus and concentration
    Forgetfulness and other memory problems
    Changes to personality
One reason why concussion injuries go undiagnosed is that there may be no visible signs of injury.
Speak with an experienced TBI attorney or contact us online to schedule a free consultation. We are interested in reviewing the facts in your case and will provide professional advice on the best way to proceed with your claim. Our TBI cases are handled on a contingency basis, which means that if we take your case, we don’t collect a fee until after you’ve been awarded a settlement.

Thank you for your compassion. I'm 52 years post injury. Severe tbi, 2 weeks loss of consciousness with acute haemorrhagic stroke. I'm hiģh functioning but have had frightening psychotic episodes and with great stress I feel like my brain is scrambled truly my thought life is so scary with anxiety I cannot describe. 65cyears and am amazed that I am still able to be coherent some days. And friends and family just have no comprehension whatsoever. Wish I could make a movie to describe the tumult inside to show what it's like. 5 Sept 1975 age eighteen was a very strange day indeed...

Wow! More lawyers need to be like you!. I have a TBI. I used to be a paramedic and it was my emt coworker who shot me in the head twice and then beat me over the head with a police baton until the stick broke. He committed suicide afterwards. I've been fighting for disability for over 4 years and still can't get it. So beyond frustrated!

We need more TBI lawyers like YOU who understand!!!! There are sooo many TBI survivors who are being legal and medically abused especially from big insurance companies. I am probably the only Subarachnoid Hemorrhage TBI with fractured skull treated at a top TBI hospital that did not get catastrophic designation, because my attorneys did not know TBI. I still need a TBI attorney.

When being assessed with a head injury/mTBI, why do doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, and neurologists testing cannot seem to differentiate between frontal lobe damage, PCS and ADHD? I can see the frontal lobe damage on my MRI with my skull fracture, doctors said my symptoms are ADHD, I don’t understand why they are misdiagnosing my mTBI. The MRI radiologist did not even notate on my medical chart that I had a skull fracture🤕

My son fell and hit the front top of his head on concrete. Another man found him so not sure how long he laid there. Since that day he has suffered. So many complications, that people around him say he’s crazy. He is in a correctional facility in NC, and it’s been 8 months now with no help. Nurses won’t help him when he ask for medical help. He has 17 months left there before coming home. He is basically just hanging onto a thread these days. He said he’s not afraid to die because he knows he’ll be with our Lord in heaven. He just don’t want to die there. He used to run 8 miles a day and worked 60 hours a week for the city of Sanford right before this happened. He stayed on a strict diet and never touched drugs while being there. He hates everything about drugs because that’s what he done on the streets and why he’s where he is. He’s thankful for time spent there because it did save his life from dying on drugs. He spends most of his time studying the Hebrew and Greek language so that he can understand exactly what Gods Words really mean. That in itself is the only good thing about this situation.
I used to think anyone serving time had medical care, food, bed, ect. I was badly mistaken. Anyone reading this , please pray my son makes it back home to his family. 🙏🏻

Drugged out of PTA enough seconds to get me to a remote island hilltop where my last thought as I fell back asleep FOR 6 MONTHS was "What did I survive this for?"
8 1/2 years later, still dependent on Ensure food powder in creek water, the doctors nurse wife got heself a lawyer against me. She'd chosen a man who recently buried a boy alive. I counted over 20 deaths this nurse had caused as she prayed with her husband doctor to who the Church of England call Jesus.
The truama (they murdered my boy 20 years earlier) of telling of this doctors crimes is too much to describe here. I counted over 20 deaths he's been unaccountable for. Most TBI people who get their injury denied to exist suicide.

I don’t fear death or anything or failure or success or anything! Every single day feels like yesterday and the day before and further? I think the future is a curse and this World will destroy itself because notice … too good is NEVER good enough and nobody knows what to do to succeed or fail? Nobody is God or anything! We will destroy ourselves faster than anything

I don’t want to die? But we all die! It is part of the Cycle of Life and I don’t fear it? As should anyone? Life comes and goes, I do not have any intention for suicide and could not ever bring myself that low, I’d rather just not wake up one day and let it run it’s natural course, not abrupt sudden ending and suffrage, once this is accepted by the world around me? Then I’ll feel completely normal

Thank you sir for a magnificent video concerning an extremely important subject. I have a question and hope you have time to answer. What is the intent of the insurance company or their lawyer when they demand that a person with TBI in an accident go to a neurologist and be tested? Do they require such in order to deny liability? Again, thank you, thank you for a video that is fantastic.

I’m recovering brilliantly from a TBI, but I think it is because I’m a very fit and active person to start with.
I was in an induced coma for a week, in the major trauma unit for 4 weeks then in a rehabilitation hospital for one week before being sent home to recover. That was two months ago and I’m doing fine.

I received a TBI in 2003 that hospitalized me for weeks at some point they diagnosed it as mental illness , First as depression than bipolar, so they treated it with meds despite my continued deterioration. Every time I went to a appointment they would ignore the cause "TBI" it got to the point where I was handed off to the Neurologists Nurse just to check the level of my meds. I did this for 15 years. This week I insisted on a MRI. The report showed There is a 6 mm T2/FLAIR hyperintense nodule within
the right lateral ventricle body/frontal horn abutting the lateral
ependymal surface. Mild generalized parenchymal volume loss with
concordant ventricular enlargement . Among other things. These doctors totally destroyed my life.

I am 5 years post injury. I had a real bad motorcycle accident where an animal ran out in front of me a I tried to miss the animal and went off the road head first into a rock. I struggle daily just to survive. I've talked to many doctors but have never spoke to any one that understands like you appear to. Thank you. Marty
