    Greg stated how he felt about hurts last week, I respect Greg. But let’s give hurts some credit and be supportive of the kid. Go birds.

    19:43 - the pass went to Calcaterra, but AJ was wide open too at the bottom of the screen. So Hurts didn’t just play that buddy ball that he gets accused of.

    • @InsideTheBirds
      @InsideTheBirds  3 месяца назад +2

      Kept his eyes down the field, which is what coaches are looking for. Has been an issue with most games, but not this one. He was dialed in 🎯

    • @stevebabiak6997

      @@InsideTheBirds - if Calcaterra isn’t that wide open, AJ could get the ball.
      Since Calcaterra has good hands, Hurts is more than willing to throw him the ball when he’s open - it shows in these past several games with Goedert out. Stoll OTOH is not a preferred target.

    On another channel, there were clips showing how good the press coverage was in man on man coverage - nobody was open. If they keep that up, the D-line will get their sacks or the QB will make risky throws.

    I saw that this year Jalen was still learning the offense, they tweaked some things and simplified the offense and went back to basics. Jalen works too hard to continue to turn the ball over. He has been an MVP candidate at some point the last two years, that level of play didn't go away. That's my quarterback

    • @DankBirdGang52
      @DankBirdGang52 2 месяца назад

      @unrhu I say simplified to mean they went back to the drawing board with what they were comfortable with, and started executing better, while also adding to the offense.

    I'm lowkey... looking forward to see what the Eagles Secondary looks like with Slay... To me he's been overrated for a few years and I think there are a lot of people who won't say it, but they know he's been overrated and think Rodgers might be an upgrade especially covering deeps routes because he's more fluid, probably faster, and quicker twitch.
