When the weight reaches its minimum potential empty it from the container and have the remaining kinetic energy in the flywheel to return the lift to load another weight from an upper reservoir of weights. Maybe its possible to engage some sort of return mechanism that can move back up faster (less rotations of the flywheel) to return it to the top to grab another weight. This looks really cool.
But energy will decorate with time, unless the losses are externally compensated. This will be a perpetual motion machine that is against the laws of thermodynamics

If you can build a low drag generator or use inertia to amplify torque and overcome generator drag then it should be possible. I read two papers called Impulse Power Secrets and Energy Impulse Secrets by kanarev that says its possible. So it is known that generators convert mechanical energy to electrical energy and that 746 watts is 1 horsepower. But what if the generator is actually using mechanical energy to convert the one dimensional magnetic energy into a 3 dimensional electrical energy. But the energy produce from the conversion fights back against the mechanical energy as drag, thus more mechanical energy in the form of torque is needed to keep the conversion going. As such the mechanical input energy exceeds the electrical output energy generated. Also the 746 watts equal one horse power experiment have no magnetic fields in it so the constant is invalid as it did not take into account the one dimensional energy of the magnetic field
also that is a given with any energy resource its because you cannot extract a 100% from a system and keep reusing it The good news is at least you have extracted power from the system to automate to save time
Maybe a spring assist could help it make the cycle. Thermodynamics says energy can't be created or destroyed, which makes perpetual energy machines impossible. But springs aren't really creating energy, just storing it. Good Luck getting this to work, hope you succeed.
Suitable spring should have in the top. It needs to return force automatically. Not strong, not weak, medium spring force need. Try it. I am just advising. Respect you.
The best would be too load up the bricks stacked up top unfortunately manually, then design the elevator to drop off, then go back up and grab another... Not sure if it'd work, plus you have to load bricks to top haha

If one is large and other is small... Then their speed changes.... Example if large gear takes 60 turn per turn then smaller gear will turn with more speed like 120 ,150,200 depending upon size difference
This is not real design, here one part is in test. At the place of weight there will be water which will flow out from moving chamber. When there will no weight then it will move above without any external energy, only with the help of flywheel. But it is small part of design.
