The Boers set an example using laagers, and this was in 1838... In 1879 the British at Isandlwana could have won if the ignorant commanders had not underestimated their enemy. Great video once again, keep it up.

Man, that's something. Gotta admire the Zulus for their bravery. They continue with their attacks while suffering losses. It's a cavalry charge without horses. This war is overshadowed by the other major conflicts. Doesn't get talked about. The Boers made use of the laagers more effectively. Unlike the British at Isandlwana.

This is not how Piet Reteif and his men were killed. They were sitting, unarmed, inside the Zulu settlement, when they were set upon at Dingaan's orders.

They "Boers" did not wear uniforms neither had the Martini Henry or a similar rifle. The men would fire and the son/wife or other would reload - as example two or three rifles per man rotating between the marksman and reload. Bear in mind they were excellent marksmen and if the enemy charged in a "bundle" mostly every shot would hit. The British made the same mistake when they invaded the Republics - thinking that marching up in blocks would be intimidating....it did not work well.

Back during the colonial days of the USA (1600s) the Europeans were told you could find an Indian Wife with ease and marry.
I'm sure many of those indentured servants and others were later killed by Indians.

Jesus, THE Cornerstone -- What did Jesus command? Matthew 28:18 Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” (THIS system of things which is directly under the control of Satan) - Luke 4:5 So he [Satan] brought him [Jesus] up and showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in an instant of time. 6 Then the Devil said to him: “I will give you all this authority and their glory, because it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 If you, therefore, do an act of worship before me, it will all be yours. Jesus Answered Satan this way; Luke 4:8 In reply Jesus said to him: “It is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”
Who did Jesus appoint to carry out this great work of preaching the Good News of the Kingdom of God? Matthew 24:45 “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Happy is that slave if his master on coming finds him doing so! 47 Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings. --- Revelation 7:4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel… Everyone else who makes the decision to obey Jesus (John 3:36) are the domestics. And I am one of the domestics. I have made the decision to OBEY Jesus, our NOW ruling king. Ask yourself this question, why did Adam die?
This is what else we learn about the 144,000; 1 Peter 1:4 As you come to him (Jesus), a living stone rejected by men but chosen, precious to God, 5 you yourselves as living stones are being built up into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, in order to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For it says in Scripture: “Look! I am laying in Zion a chosen stone, a precious foundation cornerstone, and no one exercising faith (meaning to obey Jesus) in it will ever be disappointed.” 7 It is to you, therefore, that he is precious, because you are believers; but to those not believing, “the stone that the builders rejected, this has become the chief cornerstone” 8 and “a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.” They are stumbling because they are disobedient to the word. You can be sanctified BY HIS TRUTH when you make the decision to obey Jesus and exit from Satan’s world. If you would like to receive the rest of the information about the ‘cornerstone, please email me and request it or if you have questions, please ask, or email me with your questions; rich515151@yahoo.com. Also, I can direct you to a guided home Bible study course where you can study the Bible at your convenience. If you want to know why we study the Bible, I can send you a paper explaining, in detail, why we do so. Any help I can provide is always free.
