My granddaughter (aspergers) refused to use the toilet or potty right down the line. When she reached 4, my daughter told her she could no longer get nappies which fit, she was too big. She would have to wear pants. She was told that she was now big enough to clean up her own mess if she made one. There was 1 accident, she was given the 'tools' to clean it up. No one said anything. No comments at all. It was treated as normal behaviour. She cleaned it up. There was never another accident.

Hi im dylan im 27 years old and im addicted to diapers
PAHAHAHHAHA
Um he was born in 2007
Dear god I hope not.
lol
I agree so much
This will probably be really humiliating for him when he grows up
Yep 🤚
He's gotta be at least 24 now. He probably NEVER lived it down.
He should not be ashamed since this is poor parenting in the first place

The only reason this is happened is the parents early on decided they would do anything to stop the crying and now the kid cries more and more to get their way. Put up with the crying in the early days and then you don't have it when they're older.
Exactly!
Yes, shocking parenting. Why wouldn’t you make life easier for yourselves?
Yes!!!!! I watch my son cry and it's heart breaking but he has to learn that crying won't get him his way. Slowly but surely he doesn't cry and throw tantrums to get his way very often anymore

I know. Just watching these episodes makes me wonder if they will see these and be embarrassed / ashamed
@CLASS-D Subject D-9341 he’s not..this episode took place in February 2010….and Dylan was born in 2006 therefore he’s 14……however his sister (emma; who was born in 2003) is probably able to
@CLASS-D Subject D-9341 sorry i just wanted to inform you about their ages 🤷♀️
Like kids need anymore ammunition to bully others. Parents should use some discretion with what they share in regards to their kids & also themselves with the rest of the world. Every moment in life isnt meant to be shared. Just because you can do something, does mean you should 24/7/365.
But bedwetting is common up to the age of 15 so he shouldn't be ashamed when there's teenager diapers at wallmart
Ironic how I got an ad for nappies just before this video 😆
LOL.

My Strange Addiction: my son is addicted to wearing diapers.
which really isn't as strange an addiction as some people might think
My son was potty trained by the time he was 2, couldn't stand diapers. I guess I just got lucky.
That's awesome since most boys aren't potty-trained until they're 3 1/2 to 4.
I just think you know how to parent well! My brother didn’t get out of pull-ups til he was 14-so good for you mum!!!!!
I started preschool at 2. I was also potty trained and could read.
Mine starts at 1.
@@lauren.g5382 FOURTEEN ?!

That’s what I was thinking.
Wow! The parents should have started earlier with Dylan. It's their own fault that Dylan was acting like that
Yeah because they always gave in to him!
Wow Judgemental much?
It’s partially that Dylan is just being resistant and does not want to cooperate

It’s Jo Frost and what do you expect? I just view the comments in this video. Jo Frost is way too pushy with everything.
I will NEVER have kids and this is why.
This only happened because the parents were either too lazy or scared to potty train him. The older the kid is, the more resistance you’ll get because diapers are all they’ve ever known. It’s scary to go potty in an unfamiliar place. My daughter is 2.5 and we had her day trained by 2 because I’ve helped potty train many toddlers and they just resist most of the time. Of course, it also depends on the child’s temperament. My daughter is very easy going. She still wears diapers for bedtime, but we’re working on nap training. It’s so nice to go places without diapers and she doesn’t have to deal with poopy diaper changes anymore. Potty training looks different for each family.
The parents are usually the ones at fault in situations like these. If you raise them correctly, you won't have problems like this with them.
@@Pirategirl4nightwish nothing wrong with not potty training your child
@@barrydavid6634 Of course there's something wrong with not potty-training your child! You have to potty-train them at some point and they can't go to kindergarten in diapers.

Lol
@@itsbarbiebitchhhhhh Absolutely! Because as long as anyone’s kids actually still enjoy wearing diapers around the house at any age past 3 Years Old (including those who are actually 4-5 Years Old… and even 6, 7 or 8 Years Old) if they still got some diapers saved and kept aside for just in case they need to wear ‘em at night or something, and are actually are OK with letting them do that… that’s completely fine.
Especially since my Mom was really nice to me and actually DID let me wear diapers at home several times just for fun when I was 4-5 Years Old back in early 1997 and would always come right upstairs with me to my room and start putting the diaper on me right away whenever I asked her to put one on me each time shortly after I’d find some diapers hanging up inside the closet of my bedroom; since I actually still had some diapers saved ‘n kept aside for just in case she needed me to wear ‘em at night or something.
