I understand why so many people hate this ride, but it's one of my favorites. This ride is full of beauty. Not only was it the first ride that was ever created for Disney, but they also got so many people to provide music for the soundtrack. As a music major, it's really amazing to get to hear all of the different sounds of the world's instruments in one place. I've seen it at it's worst, when most of the dolls weren't even moving. I'm glad they refurbished it. A ride like this deserves love. :)
Thanks for posting. I'm from the UK and visited Magic Kingdom on the evening of November 15th for the fireworks, night parade etc. Your video brings back the good memories :))
I'm not sure why this ride is so creepy. Maybe its the animatronics are outdated and look so lifeless, the dark, spacious ceiling that makes you feel vulnerable and exposed, the murky waters you are being pulled through, or the or the overly cheerful sing songy anthem being drilled into your skull. Something about this ride feels melancholy or otherworldy.
+pinetreeboi Oh yeah, that's right. And the way I see it, Magic Kingdom's IASW without the goodbye scene would be like if See & Sing's RDFPAFS didn't have She'll Be Comin' Round The Mountain on it, I guess.

It’s not creepy, people are just completely overreacting over dolls
One word...zombies. Look up the movie Children of the Dammed (like a Stepford Wives).
Oh stop it

What's the Goodbye room doing at the beginning? Shouldn't it be at the end or something?
That isn't the beginning, it is the very last scene. You can see the goodbye room from the ride queue, so he decided to film it I guess...
