I removed the original lights on my 1966 Farmall 656 and replaced with LED light bars all around. I can light the barn up from 600 yards away. The ground is now white or light grey where I look at the ground around the tractor.
Hey Nathan! Cross auger shutoff kit is great. Highly recommend it. I think we paid in the $4-$5k area for just the shutoff kit, not the tippy spout. It’s great for topping off the grain cart. We wish we would’ve done it years ago. We added it to our S770 with the 26’ auger. It’s integrated unlike Lankota. Just hit the unload button like you usually do, it runs the big horizontal auger for about 3-5 seconds and then shuts off. If you want it to shut off immediately, you just hit the auger button a second time and it shuts down right away.
to make it easier in some cases go to addreses and get it in tech mode ( hold the address button for 10 seconds) should have a 'T' at the top of the screen. go to controller SFA then address 20. thats the front suspension height calibration. lock the scvs then you can use SCV 1 to bring it up and down. we put jack stands on the frame just behind the weight bracket. it will lift the tires off the ground
My 680 had three ballasts out above the cab. $800 a piece from Deere I bought complete set of led from Larsen lights who’s a few miles from me. Maybe 1600. We’ve used him for our Quadtrac ballasts for years ($80 compared to $800). Has great wireless camera systems as well we have on the back of the planters and grain carts for traffic concerns. Only thought of our old halogens is to upgrade our pre-2000 yr model tractors from the ancient ‘lanterns’. I Look forward to your videos. Thanks
The charging system on the gator may not keep up if you put the lights on it we tried that on our Kawasaki and the charging system wouldn’t keep up we had to go with leds instead
Lights. You could probably omit some. Lumens can be a bit cumulative. So if you replace all of the 1500 with 6000. You might be working in daylight say night. Assuming I heard the lumens correctly. Also the led will spread better.
Sprayer need more light? If u start the tractor it will allow u to spin wheel with one side raised. Myself I'd just change the hub oil if I'm doing all that work lol. Has that tractor had the fan drive updated?
At 16:09 water ran out of hub, if you don't disassemble, clean, seal hubs and spacers, and anti-seize it may NEVER come apart in the future. Just my 2 cents. (As meticulous as you are you're probably way ahead of me).
Not really. I know that can be done, but the lenses are starting to get cloudy anyway, and I think the light pattern of the new fixtures will be better.
TECHNALLY tyou have till FEB2 to unlit the stars from the HOLY DAYS :) but some of us fly the stars all year around!! just saying ...body mind spirit soul ((theBIGDUDEUPSTAIRS...) points representing those, and the elements... air fire water earth spirit .... :) eh HAVE AN AMAZIN EVERYTHING!!!

Thank you for the great procrastination teaching moment. 😂
LED is the way to go. I switched everything to LED a couple of years ago. HUGE difference. You won’t be sorry. Draws far fewer amps as well.
Put them on the drone!!! 😂
F-12 would look great 🔥🔥🔥. Ahh I still have my Christmas lights on the star is fine. GET TO WORK SPRING IS COMING 😂😂😂.
Surely you can sell them for something. I would recommend if you are going to change lights, go to LED instead of moving them around.
Thanks for the video

I'm with your dad , put them 4440
Give the old girl some love.
One of the best tractors John Deere made . Hate to see the old iron die in the corner .
9005 lamp is the same as I just replaced in my 2016 Impala!

How much are the combine light kits from Larsen?
This might be a stupid question but how does the dirt get inside the lights? Maybe Brock can use some of those lights.
You'd be surprised how much dust can make it into anything that's not sealed. It just get in throught the cracks around the edges.

Put the Lights on the underside of your Hopperbottom trailers for unloading at Night
I have some of those already but a good option
Good morning 😎🇺🇸
the 9005 lightbulb is a very common in the car industrie, just bought them for my dodge, 160 CAN a pair
Cross auger shutoff kit is $5,400 from Deere and $3,300 from Lankota
Deere is more expensive, but I feel like it’s heavier built, and all integrated!
The charging system on the gator may not keep up if you put the lights on it we tried that on our Kawasaki and the charging system wouldn’t keep up we had to go with leds instead
I replaced the halogen bulbs with led in my combine. Lot better but they mess with my radio
Curious if you could just get replacement LED bulbs for the lights vs replacing the entire fixture?
@@dandevries6954 The reflector isn't designed for LED bulbs

Almost never spary in the dark and it already has HID lights too. Yes it has the updated fan drive which is why I didn't grease it.
With the kit I bought we had to put the amber flashers back in does yours come with new flashers?
Yes i got the flashers with it
You could get lights for your combine from Tiger Lights for 1650 for all of them. Highly recommend!
Put some of those old lights on the gooseneck trailer?
Pretty sure Larson farms got the tippy spout and cross auger shut off from lankoda or another aftermarket.
That tractor will be a light saber LOL
I'm thinking the boys go cart needs a couple of lights
It's not a transformer ) which changes the voltage of an AC circuit) but an inverter ( which turns DC into AC)
Good morning

That's not the hub, that's another spacer around the hub. It's hollow inside and collects water until you turn on of the holes down.
how about yours hi lo for the lights
we are penn state ¡!!!
What year is the 8335R?
2012
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Did you check on just replacing the bulbs with LED bulbs instead of the entire fixture?
Not really. I know that can be done, but the lenses are starting to get cloudy anyway, and I think the light pattern of the new fixtures will be better.
Lankota cross auger shut-off kits are $3200. I think the Larson’s installed them
You should put the lights on the gator and the 4030 IMHO
Fog lamps on your vehicles?
What you discribed could have been a ground wiring leakage
They do make a female cone of that type that is intended to be on a cord, and not wall mounted.
Kids go cart
Imagine racing two John deere tractor across a field. Farming Grand Prix, anyone?
Can’t you just replace the 9005 bulb with an led equivalent
You took that tractor that far apart why didn't you just change the oil
It's only half way to needing it. Needs checked every year, not changed.

We’re supposed to 4-8 of snow 😠
