If you are getting the "Seamless Coop Mod [1.5.1] - Error" failed to find all necessary game signatures... go to your MODS folder NOT the seemless coop folder and delete the 2 seemless coop files. The error box will no longer show up. Currently the mod hasn't been updated for the DLC, you have to wait on the author, look in the description and/or the forum on the website to get updates. Also, if you don't have a mods folder you can create one yourself.

Perhaps this doesn't work if you've already been playing the Seamless Coop mod and have save files? I've followed the instructions to a T, but there are additional folders within the SeamlessCoop folder. I've tried these steps with leaving them as well as deleting them, but the result is the same. Seamless mod won't even launch. Perhaps the newest version of the mod just doesn't work with this method?
yeah i'm not sure if it works anymore either. I cannot launch the game with mod engine 2 launcher unless it's in the game folder with elden ring.exe, so then it doesn't launch it with seamless
I've been playing seamless for a few weeks now. I followed these instructions to install the Grand Merchant mod. I launch the game from the "Mod Manager" and it keeps loading my NON Seamless save file. Wondering how I can trick it to open my seamless save file.
@@justsomewater339 here's how I fixed it. 1) Uninstall everything, delete all mods (your saves will still be safe). 2) Reinstall Elden ring. 3) Download Mod loader and Glorious Merchant (not grand merchant). 4) download Seamless Coop. 5) put Seamless files in the game folder like normal. 6) put Mod Loader files in the game folder like normal. 6) in the game folder, if there isn't one already, make a folder called "mods" 7) put the Glorious Merchant files in the "mods" folder. 8) start the game using the seamless loader like normal, from the game folder.
If it let's you load in and shows you the error message when you've done everything he's said, just take the seamless co op files out of the mod file. That's how I fixed it.

Nice updated video on this, but I and a few other searches i've found on the internet are getting the error from Mod Loader: ""Failed to load elden_ring_seamless_coop.dll"" I even did a fresh install of Elden Ring. I can get Seemless to work stand alone, but not with mod loader, even doing exactly what you've done step by step. I'm thinking something somewhere has updated, but it looks like your mods have the same versions as I've downloaded. Pretty stumped.
I just noticed that it seems that the root cause is Seamless CO OP .exe cannot locate the .dll file that has been moved into the mod folder. Not sure how to target within the .exe that the files have been moved. I'm guessing the modloader is supposed to be doing that /shrug.

Me and a friend are trying to solve our issue with the Seamless Coop mod. The rundown is that when I first used the mod it was all fine. I already had made a character, no other mods being used. Later on I downloaded ModEngine 2 and Elden Mod Loader, Carian Combo Warrior mod and that's it. I followed instructions from a video on installing all of those things and I ran into a few road bumps but managed to figure it out on my own so everything is working for me. For my friend however, he is having the issue of his item ICONS not showing. He basically already followed the steps that I did and the game later did allow him to play with the mods however, his ICONS are not showing and we later found out that the file messing with the ICONS are the regulation.bin file from the Carian Combo Warrior mod cause when he deleted them, the ICONS were at their original state but without that file his attacks just phases through enemies. The weird thing is that I had the same issue with the ICONS but how I fixed it was in the Carian Combo Warrior mod, it had a MALE file and I used that initially the first time I had the mod. So I then later replaced that regulation.bin file from the MALE file and using the main one from the main file and apparently that fixed it for me so everything is working. But for my friend that regulation.bin for him doesn't like him at all so I am at a lost for something that worked for me isn't working for him. I checked to make sure all of his files are like mines and ones that don't need to be there but nothing as of yet are working. Sorry for writing a thesis but thought I'd type it out in detail to give context of the issue since a lot of people just write out the issue without details.
Yes, thank you for adding the details to your problem if I had to guess he has something running in the background that you don’t that is interfering with the mod something like a “virus protection software” a “VPN” and some people of been having issues with windows 11

I've followed the steps 3 different times, still getting no session found error. We have the same password, same steam game version, same updated seamless, same mods, but stil can't host or join...
Did this last month and worked just fine. Followed these steps and my seamless coop Items show "ICON" as a place holder and dont work. Mods work though.

Having an issue, for some reason launching Elden Ring Seamless coop only brings me to a white screen before it closes out. I have followed the steps exactly and have all files and mods updated (as of 1.09) but I cant get the game to actually load. I do not receive the error file that tells me it cannot find the .dll, the game just refuses to load. Is this something to do with 1.09 or have i made a mistake somewhere?
Clean reinstall of Elden Ring and the latest mod files fixed everything. I recommend above everything else to just do a reinstall and follow this video’s instructions again. Probably don’t have to do all that but it worked for me.
Do you know if this works with cheat engine? Me and my friend want to play around with different mods and builds rather than going through the story, we need a way of gaining items and levelling up without playing through the game each time for every build

I solve it. Check that you are using version 1.5.1 of seamless coop, with this version it works perfectly, however with version 2.0.0 the problem that you describe occurs and thats cause 2.0.0 version of seamless is incompatible with other mods.
@AangTheGamer I have a question, i followed your steps to a T, but every time when i copy the seamless ini and dll to move it to the mods file I get the error message failed to find necessary game files. Also when i downloaded the seamless coop mod there was a locale folder and a crashpad folder inside the seamless folder. and my crashdump folder is inside the seamless coop folder as well, do i need to move those folders to the game folder?
@@GeneralShowHD there is a mod called “elden mod loader” in nexus. Just put it in the game folder, then go into seamless coop folder and copy and past the .ini and the .dll in the “mods” folder that shows up

There isn’t an error when I launch the game. When it’s launched it just launches the vanilla version. I don’t get the message saying im playing seamless co-op.
@@aangthegamer4784 what isnt shown or said is that you put the Mod Engine 2 Folder inside your Elden Ring Folder if you dont do this it will just launch vanilla instead of Seamless
Try playing with just you adding the visual mod and see if he can join and if they can’t join have them install it and try again and let me know what happens
havent been able to get seamless to work with mods. Have the seamless coop .dll and the .ini in the mods folder of MOD ENGINE 2 but it just ends up only loading the mod and not seamless coop. Anybody know a fix for this issue? Im trying to run grand merchant mod and then swap folders to get all the items for the Clevers moveset but it's not working with seamless coop
It would've been great if it didn't fuck your game up at every update. I'd love a mod that could just work with minimal effort with the updates that from makes. I'm starting all over again just because of the incompetence of the developer of this mod.

When i launch the .bat after installing my mods, the .bat lauch the vanilla version of the game, not the Seamless Coop. I did all what you described before. Are you sure we can do all this if you already play to Seamless Coop ? Then, are you sure we have to copy the first two files .bat and .ini into the "mod" folder ? When we do that we have the "Necessary file" bug so...
Yeah that's it, if you copy the .bat and the .ini in the "mod" folder, you have the Necessary bug. If you delete them from the Seamless Coop folder, same. If you let them in the Seamless Coop folder, the game is launching but Mod Engine will launch the vanilla game version... Any idea guys ?
having the same issue as the guy who commented below, i've been playing seamless coop with my friend and saw the tale of moonviel mod, worked fine installing it then when i looked at my coop items they were labelled as "ICON" i made sure to download the 1.1 version so it matches seamless coop with that being 1.1 as well and yeah its just the same result, i tried the other 2 version of tale of moonviel too and it's still the same issue so god knows how to fix lol
This happens to me when I substitute an older reg.bin file for the latest released reg.bin. If I merge reg changes into the newer file, my Seamless Coop game still has its icons for items.

Did everything as mentioned in the video. However, if I start via the mod engine the game will start with the mod I installed but it won#t be starting in seamless coop. I can start seamless coop no problem. i already testest it and it worked, dor some reason however I can't combine the mods. I installed Elden Ring reforged as i want to play it with my friends. any suggestions?
Hey, my friend and I can't seem to get this working. We followed the video perfectly but when we get to the part where we need to fix the error, we deleted the files, but it doesn't seem to relaunch after that. It says that it couldn't find the file. I even tried putting them back but then the game just keeps giving the same game signatures error. Both the .ini and the .dll files are in the SeamlessCoop folder and the mods folder.

Could I make a copy of the game directory (backup if you will) and put all of that in the copied folder? Making it so the vanilla folder has nothing on it all?

Hi. I dont know if you are going to be able to help but I installed the mod a month ago and have been playing with a friend since and had no problems, but now the game just wont launch. I open the mod .exe as usual and the game screen remains white for a few seconds and then it shuts down. I didnt touch any folder so i dont have a clue on what could be wrong.

You can have more than 1 mod, you have to change the text in the .toml folder to read multiple mods, but I’ll just say not every mod is compatible with each other

Seamless Co-op only = only in game's directory. Mod Engine = both in game's directory and "mods" folder. Den Maps = install like Seamless Co-op only.

You keep both the DLL and game instructions in seamlesscoop and mods then open the game through mod engine

modengine 2 is only loading modengine mods and not loading up seamless co p. Followed step by step

Do you know if this works with cheat engine? Me and my friend want to play around with different mods and builds rather than going through the story, we need a way of gaining items and levelling up without playing through the game each time for every build

quick question, if i had already been using seamless coop, would that mess anything up? i have a few extra folders in my seamless coop file that's aren't present in your video, and after following all the steps in the video, when i launch the game, it says that it cant find the necessary files. Ive also tried following the steps of the video while also including the new files that i have, but that doesn't work either. any one else had this issue?

I solve it.
Check that you are using version 1.5.1 of seamless coop, with this version it works perfectly, however with version 2.0.0 the problem that you describe occurs and thats cause 2.0.0 version of seamless is incompatible with other mods.
@AangTheGamer I have a question, i followed your steps to a T, but every time when i copy the seamless ini and dll to move it to the mods file I get the error message failed to find necessary game files. Also when i downloaded the seamless coop mod there was a locale folder and a crashpad folder inside the seamless folder. and my crashdump folder is inside the seamless coop folder as well, do i need to move those folders to the game folder?
also i did delete the dll and ini copies in the seamless folder as instructed

Every time u click "launchmod_eldenring" it shows a box for a split second but doesn't even start the game.

@@GeneralShowHD there is a mod called “elden mod loader” in nexus. Just put it in the game folder, then go into seamless coop folder and copy and past the .ini and the .dll in the “mods” folder that shows up

What does the error say when you launch the game
There isn’t an error when I launch the game. When it’s launched it just launches the vanilla version. I don’t get the message saying im playing seamless co-op.

@@aangthegamer4784 what isnt shown or said is that you put the Mod Engine 2 Folder inside your Elden Ring Folder if you dont do this it will just launch vanilla instead of Seamless

Try playing with just you adding the visual mod and see if he can join and if they can’t join have them install it and try again and let me know what happens
.bat launched the base elden ring not seamless co-op then i tried loading seamless co-op but it didnt have the mods

havent been able to get seamless to work with mods. Have the seamless coop .dll and the .ini in the mods folder of MOD ENGINE 2 but it just ends up only loading the mod and not seamless coop. Anybody know a fix for this issue? Im trying to run grand merchant mod and then swap folders to get all the items for the Clevers moveset but it's not working with seamless coop

Make sure steam is open, and ur opening it from the elden ring folder with “launcheldenringseamlesscoop” can’t launch it otherwise
It would've been great if it didn't fuck your game up at every update. I'd love a mod that could just work with minimal effort with the updates that from makes. I'm starting all over again just because of the incompetence of the developer of this mod.

When i launch the .bat after installing my mods, the .bat lauch the vanilla version of the game, not the Seamless Coop.
I did all what you described before. Are you sure we can do all this if you already play to Seamless Coop ?
Then, are you sure we have to copy the first two files .bat and .ini into the "mod" folder ? When we do that we have the "Necessary file" bug so...
Yeah that's it, if you copy the .bat and the .ini in the "mod" folder, you have the Necessary bug.
If you delete them from the Seamless Coop folder, same.
If you let them in the Seamless Coop folder, the game is launching but Mod Engine will launch the vanilla game version...

having the same issue as the guy who commented below, i've been playing seamless coop with my friend and saw the tale of moonviel mod, worked fine installing it then when i looked at my coop items they were labelled as "ICON" i made sure to download the 1.1 version so it matches seamless coop with that being 1.1 as well and yeah its just the same result, i tried the other 2 version of tale of moonviel too and it's still the same issue so god knows how to fix lol
if something saves as a rar archive can that mess it up?

This happens to me when I substitute an older reg.bin file for the latest released reg.bin. If I merge reg changes into the newer file, my Seamless Coop game still has its icons for items.
when i open the game with modengine it just send me to the offline game not seamless and i did everything just like u did.

Either the password is typed wrong, one of you have a VPN or you’re using the wrong items
@@aangthegamer4784 we made sure the password was working and changed it like 4 times, neither of us have vpns either, i think its on seamless coops side bcs if you load it without the mods seamless coop still fails

I had the failed to find unnecessary files error so I did what you said and my save is gone. I've reverted back to my old save which was 150 hours of play time ago

Did everything as mentioned in the video. However, if I start via the mod engine the game will start with the mod I installed but it won#t be starting in seamless coop. I can start seamless coop no problem. i already testest it and it worked, dor some reason however I can't combine the mods. I installed Elden Ring reforged as i want to play it with my friends. any suggestions?

So you can't use Elden Ring Reforged with the Clever moveset Modpack?
You can you just have to change things in the eldenring.toml in the mod engine 2 folder
After closing game command prompt shows up saying seamless isn't found

Hey, my friend and I can't seem to get this working. We followed the video perfectly but when we get to the part where we need to fix the error, we deleted the files, but it doesn't seem to relaunch after that. It says that it couldn't find the file. I even tried putting them back but then the game just keeps giving the same game signatures error. Both the .ini and the .dll files are in the SeamlessCoop folder and the mods folder.

Tried following both this video and the one for Reforged and for some reason I cannot get both to load at the same time, the closest I got was Reforged having a mod information that told me about the seemless coop mod, but it didnt go to the save and didnt give me the coop items.

Hey just wondering i downloaded the file and it does not show exe at the end of the file name for seamless coop and as well it came with a crashpad file I didn't see show up on your end but is showing up on seamless mod files
Those files usually come from creating a character from seamless, you don't need to copy those files only the two naked files without folders

Yeah the mod still has bugs it’s not 100% seamless but it’s the closest we’ve got
Now we both can’t even open elden ring any more

Could I make a copy of the game directory (backup if you will) and put all of that in the copied folder? Making it so the vanilla folder has nothing on it all?
You could but I just keep a extra folder with all the mods so I can just delete the mods when I want to go back to vanilla

Hi. I dont know if you are going to be able to help but I installed the mod a month ago and have been playing with a friend since and had no problems, but now the game just wont launch. I open the mod .exe as usual and the game screen remains white for a few seconds and then it shuts down. I didnt touch any folder so i dont have a clue on what could be wrong.
There was an update on the mod that you will need to install

Make sure you’re changing the name of the randomizer folder to mod in the mod engine two folder

Are we suppose to be dropping the “mod” folder into the game files? Everytime I click on the mod engine file to run my game it puts me in vanilla
the only thing you should put in your "game" folder is the seamless co-op mod and the Elden mod loader

Can we only install 1 mod with seamless coop? Ive been trying to play the game with a friend but we wanted to play seamless coop with a couple other mods but its only running with one other mod at a time, is there a way around that?
You can have more than 1 mod, you have to change the text in the .toml folder to read multiple mods, but I’ll just say not every mod is compatible with each other

And put a comma after "mod" } Like this "mod" },
then add { enabled = true, name = "nicemod", path = "mod2" } but change "mod2" to the name of the second mod you want
