I want to make multiple PvP builds but don't have anywhere near enough time to play through the game for each character and new games to get duplicate weapons for dual-wielding. This will be an immense time save. Thanks, gamer.

unlike other fromsoftware games, due to it's "anticheatengine" if the game detects you running anything of that sort it forces you to play offline so you can't get banned, but it is recommended to launch the game, go to settings and switch to offline from there just to be safe@@aspirewot8408
ive done it for half a year now and no ban. i think the only way you could get banned is by forgetting that cheat engine is on when in online mode.@@aspirewot8408

For real. I'm always wondering how tf do these youtubers have so many different builds and all these items and it takes me 20 business days to make 2 characters with 20 weapons/shields/mats/crafting books etc lmao

There would be much less need for cheat engine if they would let relevant items be sold at a fair price by merchants. I'm still a fairly new player and don't use CE but it's hard to judge once you start playing pvp a bit more seriously.
Thanks so much, massive time saver! I always see the big pvp guys rock 5 of each weapon at +25/+10 and seemingly unlimited consumables but no one comes clean about it being cheated, even though we all know it can't possibly be "legit". Seeing sb like you do it is reassuring since I was always afraid of getting banned and ended up no-lifing the game for ages to do my builds in ds3 etc. with this I can finally not be at a disadvantage when pvping without having to waste hundreds of hours making multiple builds, transferring items etc.
It can be legit it just takes a fuking long time XD, using patches reddit and farming rare drops to trade
@@altzard6170 I am a regular at patches emporium and you don't need to have something to trade. We giveaway stuff in bulk.. especially on consoles where cheat engine is not available... People still have 5 of each weapon at +max. Because of easy duping.

@@jtubef8620 It's not about losing, it's about being able to make a standard build to play pvp correctly. Losing is a skill issue, the build is a standard.

@@amonra2205 ja polecam osobiście dodatkowo dodać jeszcze sobie z nexusmods, offline launcher który pozwala uruchomić grę bez easy anticheat, i wtedy korzystałem z różnych tabel do cheat engine i później wracałem do gry online a gra sama pokazuje których przedmiotów nie wolno używać
za używanie Cheat Engine można dostać bana, ale jeśli robisz to dobrze raczej jest to nieprawdopodobne (wystarczy używać sprawdzonych tabel przygotowywanych przez innych i czytać ich opis)

Thank you! I play offline due to ultrawide and FPS mods and getting rune arcs was a PITA!
I was hesitant at first, but the freedom of being able to use what ever i want... The final two straws were farming Nobles slender sword for 3-4 hours and not getting two and then going against these guys in the arena spamming protection perfumes.

I've put in over 800 hours since launch (I know, I know, that's probably some rookie numbers to some of you). Spent atleast half of that making new builds, grabbing all the weapons, armor, aow, using patches emporium on reddit for mats and an extra weapon or two for some power stancing. Glad I found this video man, you were such a huge help. I was always wondering how in the hell youtubers were uploading new build videos almost daily lmao. Part of me thought they had someone making builds for them by gathering and muling in the earlier days lmao. Anyway, thanks again. This makes things so much easier as I feel i've earned the right to use this after all the hours spent making new builds.

@@zoidberg945 u dont delete anything... after you give yourself all the items, jsut close the game and launch it again through the big "PLAY" button on steam instead of launching it from the folder and it will be launching normally and u'll keep the stuff u gave yourself offline.

best part is unlocking all invasion sites without spending 150 hours traveling to all locations every time you dare to start a new character

hi, I got banned for 180 days because of the merchant mod. Deleted my save and created another steam account, then made a full clean playthrough just to be banned again ( definitely hwid banned )

Hey Steel, have you ever had an issues with the itemgib not enabling? I can unlock maps, acquire runes, every tab you demonstrated in the video. But when I check the box of itemgib, nothing happens, no drop down menu.
Nope, never had such problems. I heard from TGA Devs that itemgib is very CPU heavy tho.
@@Steelovsky huh, 5900x shouldn't have an issue. I kept reloading the table and it eventually let it drop down

@@ayhamabusaa1187 it works for me now. I had to do this a few times before it worked but seems to function consistently now. Without the game open load cheat engine, apply the cheat table, close cheat engine. Open the game and wait until your character save is loaded into the game. Then open cheat engie using the executable made when you apply the table. DO NOT open the original CE executable.
Question once i got the items i wanted i deleted the cheat engine to be sure it wouldn’t detect anything, will this revert the setting that made me able to invade people? Or will it still stay?

If anyone's having trouble not being able to open the multiplayer menu after restarting the game and closing out of the cheat engine, just restart your computer, worked for me.

I wanted to ask if unlocking all the bonfire (even boss room bonfire) when u get back to the gale with no CE will it get u banned ?
It's kind of jank that you don't have any of the cookbooks in your inventory and they're all missing from the overworld when you check the flag, but you have still have everything unlocked.
It's safe to change your starting class, but you have to be VERY VERY CAREFUL that all your stats line up 100% right. Probably better to just make a new build for safety tbh.
How do you do it
@@MeAmSmart Figure out the stat spread you want with the new class, edit the class (IIRC it's in the Hero section), and edit the stats to match. But if you're off by even 1 level or don't set the class correctly it's ban city. Again, wouldn't recommend it unless you know exactly what you're doing.
Easy way is to respec normally with a larval tear so that your stats are above the starting values for both classes, then change the class, then finally respec normally again to the actual build you want.
I accidentally spawn unobtainable content after that reload my old save file, am I safe right now?

When I press the exe file of the game as ask in the video to start offline after I put in the text file in the same folder, the game doesn't start. Any idea why?

can you reset the boss fights in the game so you can keep fighting the boss again without going into new game with the event flag option if so how?
Instead of starting new game you could just clone your main character savefile a bunch of times, change starting class on each clone as you wish and adjust levels so they sum up properly according to new starting class
Can you do this in cheat engine?

you can safely change starting class aslong as you adjust stats? how exactly do you do that?
@@Lilly-zt9bn you have to make sure your stats are achievable through normal levelling process, so they cannot be lower than starting class, and they have to sum up to a correct level

This works great, and you've definitely gotten a like from me. A couple of questions though.
#1: I added all bonfires as you did in the video, however when traveling to Leyndell to unlock the colosseum there -- I noticed that I traveled to a certain bonfire and some continuity errors happen. One example is when I traveled to a bonfire in Leyndell it was The Ashen Capitol even though I had not burned the erdtree yet. I haven't had any issues yet but will accidentally traveling to a certain bonfire break the game?
#2: Can I safely spawn Larval Tears in?

@@michaelr5361 I bought up to 99 Larval Tears on multiple characters via the Grand Merchant mod and it all works fine for me. Dont know if there is any difference if you use Cheat Engine but since the game allows you to hold 99 of them it shouldnt be an issue.

An alternate & console-friendly method is to complete a full collection playthrough with no leveling or upgrades, *The Way Miyazaki Intended*.
Once complete, backup save, and restore save-scum when you want to change builds.
This has been my initial method for DS3, BB, & ER, but does not solve the optimal base class problem of this videos motivation.
Did it twice for prophet and astrologer but it burns you out of the game so quickly, the first time took over 100 h and if you want a optimized build for Str you need to do it with the vagabond class as well.
I just wish you could change the starting class with a lava tear it would be so practical. The game ist just to big to make lots of perfectly optimal builds.
Best to do this on a Vagabond as that starting class is optimal for a ton of builds. Stop at SL 125 or 137 or 150 up to you and use the patches subreddit to trade for the things you need on a new build.
It's better to legit just download a 100% save, otherwise you have to do the same shit with multiple classes which is not only very hard but also insanely time consuming.

@@23Butanedione Cheater? Literally all PC players use it lol. Also, which one is better? Farming for hundreds or even thousands of hours for items, or getting them in an hour? CheatEngine has actual capabilities to increase HP to 20k or make your weapon +100, so all this is just speeding up the tedious build making process for PvP.

don't do that, it's really scummy to use a consumable like that in pvp because 99% of players you'll be fighting don't cheat and either won't have that item or won't want to use it since there's only one per playthrough

Thank you Steel, great video, pretty much all PvP content creators use this to have +10/+25 of every weapon and every armor etc. but act oblivious or don’t mention how they have 5 of everything. Many other casual players try to collect and farm the items “honestly” for PvP purposes and spend hours, whereas the people who inspired the casual players to try PvP almost always creates builds with cheat engine, unfortunately due to silly system of Fromsoft. It’s not wrong to create builds like this, but nobody mentions or teaches this like you do.
i just want ask something that i have played elden ring only 50+ hrs but one day open the elden ring and tap the continue button and it get stuck on the loading screen then i check if game is getting error or not i just created a new world and it didnt get stuck on the loading screen so the problem is in my previous build and it is not opening i have tried many things but it still getting stuck in loading screen if anyone know what to do so plz tell me
Is there any way to do this on the steam deck? Cuz I can’t launch the exe without adding it to steam as a non steam game, however then when I try to open it, it just opens the normal game. Is there any way to do it on steam deck or am I gonna have to install windows?

Is there any way to unlock the Colosseums via the event flags? I currently have 5 seperate save files (each 10 characters) for PvP and am still making more.
While it only takes 5 minutes to unlock the three colosseums with all Graces unlocked, it's still tedious to do it every time I make a new build.
Probably not, you would have to waste more time in putting items in the box anyways

@@rekkin1800 Activating summoning pools is not a feature in the current table(yet). You need to activate them manually for now sadly. OP doesn't know what he's talking about in slightest.

Dark Souls 3 also has a quick way to make a build - without CE of course - called Honest Merchant (which I am certain MOST people in the comments here are familiar with), it is by far very useful without going through all the struggle to get the necessary items/weapons/gems/fashion/rings/souls/levels as a few simple select gestures/taunts can open the respective shop for said items to help finalize your build of choice, and then it's just a matter of AI invaders, killing bosses from Vordt to the Soul of Cinder, and complete DLC 1 and 2.

@@DMSBrian24 you can always unplug your pc, boot the game with mod active, get what you want, close game, deactivate mod, go back online and you’re golden
EAC doesn’t check for consumables, talismans, armor/weapon etc. Just make sure to not get quest items or items that are normally unobtainable
CE was still superior. It's one thing to spawn anything you want with a single click, and another to run towards Firelink exit, wait for the Fog Wall and then search through what you need mindlessly. It was more noob friendly for sure.
question about steam_appid file, do you have to remove that every time you want to go online, or can you just keep it in?
I think he says at the end that it is okay to leave it, but if you want to be safe, just remove the file

Hey steel, adding the whetstone knife doesn't allow me to use any affinity I want. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Go to Gatefront Ruins location, kill all the guards and wolves, there is a chest in a hidden cellar. It contains an ash of war and whetstone knife. Get it, then go to nearest site of grace.
Having the whetstone/whetblades issue as well. Clicking 'unlock all whetblades' option unlocks the upgrades whetblades give you, but they don't show up in inventory. Also can't pick them up myself because they aren't appearing in the locations. Wondering if there is some event flag/trigger I missed

I presume older versions of the cheat table won't work with current patch. Do you know how long The Grand Archives usually take to update between patches? Is it safe to use cheat tables from other creators or are The Grand Archives the only reputable source?
I just tried and can confirm that all the above steps work on the current version (even though it prompts that it wasn't developed for 1.09 ).
They update pretty fast ngl, 17 hours ago they already got an update for 1.10

i cant seem to get the game to disable easyanticheat. I have the txt file in the game file, but it wont disable. Ive tried running in offline mode and that doesnt work either. Any help?
I think its so funny how many people are complaining how its unfair and stuff but it doesnt even give the person an edge in pvp. Two people could have the same exact build, one being cheated and the other being legit, why does it matter to you how they obtained it? It doesnt give an edge in pvp lmao
the build doesn't yeah, but the consumables do. like for example the starlight shards, you may have 999x of those but the other guys could've 0 of them since they cannot get them anymore, and this gives you infinite FP for free. Just saying.

I am okay with making the build this was but it really annoys me that u can cheat items that are actually highly limited for invasions. I think this is a really unfair advantage over other players that are playing legit.
The bad thing is that there's so many people that does it that you are in a huge disadvantage if you don't.
Personally I have never done it, but i'm thinking of doing it.

I understand your point, but also it is realy unfair to invade and fight in 3v1 situation when host have total advantage over invader. Runearcs, infinite pool of blue and undownscaled gold summons, ability to pass fogwall or close conection etc, and on top of that he can use CE too...

@@usetitan675 and also the madness boluses that are limited per playtrough, which makes dealing with vykes awful. Not to mention starlight shards and all the pots, perfumer and resins that you need to farm for hours to get a decent amount.
Honestly it would be great if Fromsoft added more merchants in dlc that sold all this stuff so people don't have to cheat to get it.

Tbh using cheats like this on PC to make twink invader builds just encourages more people to mod invasions out. At least on ps5 there are no mods and you can still save dupe.

tbh the real twinks are the host and his maz-level "downscaled" phantoms but I didn't hear you complaining about that.
@Kopf der Toten do I need to complain about it? Pvp is broken in the game no doubt. But my point is that obviously cheating is just going to encourage more casuals to remove the pvp from the game.
Please tell me something like this exists for console. Anybody know of a console-friendly alternative? I’m a big fan of PVP and have zero time for creating different characters to optimize specific builds.
You can dupe with a friend by backing up your save, then dropping him everything and then reloading the old save.

What I want to do is to create optimal builds using different starting classes for PVP purposes, without having to go through hours and hours of gameplay. That’s my main issue. I.e. my RL 80 Prophet to a RL 80 Astrologer for example, so better stat distribution for a specific build (i.e. Mage Blade build). I don’t want to have to create a new character, unlock all the map pieces and sites of grace, get all the sacred tears and golden seeds, incantations and spells, just to play a different build for PVP purposes. Hope that better explains why I asked whether or not the Cheat engine in the video is available on console.

I have 6 different characters utilize this, followed the steps correctly and haven’t been banned whatsoever.
Just stay offline while you do it and you’re fine. Always double check if ce is in your folder or not before entering er online
The wave bans are once a week. So you need to wait at least a week. I don't knwo what day of the day they check though!
Will you not get banned for having graces unlocked in unaccessible areas, like haligtree without having the secret medallion or boss arenas where the boss is still alive?

I just don't have time nor patience to play through the game 7+ times to make different builds.
Thats how multiplayer on PC works. Good for shrinking the Player base in the games.
If anything, this makes the pvp scene more active because all it does is save people who only care about duels/invasions TONS of time. Unless they're really scummy and use radiant blessing etc. it doesn't really put them at a big advantage other than that.
@@DMSBrian24 maybe...but i dont Talk about Elden Ring. There are enough games on PC where the players stop playing because of using cheat engines. When the players cant play a game as it's meant to play then they should stop. The Pvp Scene on PC should reward they who lootet their stuff by their own. If you dont loot then you have the worser Equipment on pvp.

The problem would be solved if From would make some kind of state inside which you have everything unlocked and could make a character for pvp only. So it would be fair for everyone, fun, and wouldn't collide with characters made legitimately.
