People will complain about ANYTHING in games these days haha
they did say in interviews that they wanted to make ocelot, and to a lesser extent snake, be more in line with how they look in the later games. ocelot really does look like a younger version of MGS4 and 5 than he did in the original, even comparing the original MGS3 with 2 and the twin snakes

Which kind of makes sense. He's spent majority of his life aiming with that eye and he literally just lost it so muscle memory type thing. Regardless, u have to put it up on your shoulder to fire it so it will look like he's looking through the scope with his non existing eye I'd think
@@afibuffygirl Don't bother explaining, these kids never played the game and even if they did they probably skipped everything and didn't experience it as it should. People who tryna point the eye thing as a mistake have no idea about the game.

@@leon24832 It's true. The Boss and Sorrow are the parents of Ocelot. Meanwhile, The boss didn't know who was her son.
The end of August cannot get here soon enough. Besides Metroid Prime 4, Nintendo Switch 2, and GTA 6, this is my most anticipated game for 2025.
4:28 Also for those who dont know, the Sorrow, (1:19) Is Ocelot's father. They redesigned him a bit to look A LOT more like MGS4 Ocelot.

I think ocelot overall looks great, but wish his hair was trimmed more on the sides like the origional.

@@chandlerburse not sure what that means. it looks like a frame for frame graphical remaster. even the vocals sound identical. other than grapchics upgrade i'm not seeing anything new
@@GeorgeG011 cutscenes are 1:1. The actual gameplay is totally remade. Level design is the same
@ i honestly dont think the definitions of remaster and remake are exclusive to being completely the same or completely different
Remasters have existed before like the last of us remastered for ps4 where its literally just a slightly updated version of the original ps3 game.
And then TLOU1 had a remake where it was the exact same but graphically changed.
The words have been interchanged so much they probably don’t even matter
Remakes can be the exact same as long as they are rebuilt somewhat i am pretty sure.
@ yea i think that's the 'technical' definition of a remake, when they've literally remade the game with a new engine. But if it's essentially the same level design ala TLOU1 then while technically a remake, it's really in essence just a remaster. Personally i prefer when a remake keeps the soul of the original but feels like a new game... like Silent Hill 2 remake, RE 4 remake etc.
