- I was lucky enough to have a friend get some tickets to see a screening of Louis CK's concert film "Hilarious." We sat in the front row and afterwards there was an unexpected Q&A with the man himself. As if you didn't already like Louis CK enough already!
EDIT: To be clear this video was shot at the IFC Theater in 2010. It was during the 1st season of Louie. Кино
"It's kind of a thrill to be taken down publicly"
not-so-famous not-so-last words
Just when I thought I watched everything from Louie already. Thanks for this.
I'm in the same position except two years later
Ditto, except four further weeks later.
Dude this is more amazing than a basket of chicken wings! You're such a genius for finding a way to post this.
RevToddBodysnachr this post is HILARIOUS
@@vyassathya :) hmm this was about the use of the word 'genius'
We see what you did there.
Damn this is a hidden gem. Some of his responses are so good you'd think they were his material
I love this guy! You guys are so lucky to have had a chance to talk to him in person, just casually. Unlike most comedians, Louis CK is a actually a very interesting and insightful person. I'd love to have a one-on-one chat with him.
When I think of Louis and turning down movie offers, "Op-bro" comes immediately to mind.
Thanks for putting this up. Footage of Louie talking face to face with audience is probably very rare.
That was fantastic, thanks so much for posting this. I love any version of Louis CK, but the moments of pure candor from his mouth are just addicting, I appreciate the material :)
This is awesome! Thank you, Sir!
Thanks for uploading this!
thanks a lot for this! this was great!
THANKS for the upload :D
Thanks for recording and posting this!
Great upload! Thanks!
I had to check for a second to make sure that this wasn't Louis C.K.'s channel. Thanks for throwin' this out there, Lou!
Great stuff many thanks for posting. Ground breaking comic not only in his awesome stand up but the way he sells it to the fans cheap and on a large scale the guys a genius.
thanks so much uploader
so great fam. we love you, guy/girl.
this is great - thanks
Oh well I am glad it worked out. The guy is so humble and naturally funny this Q&A is almost like a standup special. I was dying when he talked about the haunted house.
10 years and like 2-3 specials later, wonder how many times he thought he was out of jokes since then
WHY DID YOU WAIT THIS LONG TO UPLOAD THIS!!!??? I'm just kidding, thanks for the upload man!
"The more shit you say out loud that's true, I think you're fine. If you have a family and you have those feelings, you should tell them. Tell them 'Sometimes I really hate you.'"
I remember hearing that at the beginning of Happy Days about the "in front of a studio audience" shit and didn't understand the significance of it cuz I was a kid. And thinking about it, as adult, either.
It's amazing that the next year (2011) he did record his special Live at the Beacon Theater at the Beacon instead of Carnegie lol
You filmed this? Thanks alot for sharing.
I'd raise my hand to ask a question, but I'd just stutter and shit my pants.
25:23 That awkward moment you're going to drink and you forget to open the bottle.
mic quality gives me a headache with headphones >.
...now all I can think of is his daughter seeing this and thinking to herself, Holy fu@king shi!, my father really hates me sometimes..."
Other than that I loved it. Actually, INCLUDING that I loved it. I've seen some really amazing people speak at IFC but I've never been smart enough to record them. Hopefully that will change now...
Great foreshadowing with that part about how fun it is to be canceled
Pier Paolo Pasolini - "Pasolini's film career would then alternate distinctly personal and often scandalously erotic adaptations of classic literary texts"
Originally I wanted to do it the next day but for some reason I couldn't get any programs to convert it. They would all crash. When I rediscovered the video the more recent programs I have worked right away. Just lucky (louie) I didn't delete it over the 2 years.
No. Hilarious came out in 2010. Before his Beacon Theater movie. This was shot in 2009 or 2010. I only recently found this video when I was clearing out a hard drive. In this video he mentions that Louie was renewed for a 2nd season.
3:00 “It’s fun to get cancelled”
When was this? 2012 screening?
2:55 that did not age well lol
This happened 2 years ago. If I can't hear what people are saying I don't recall the questions. Sorry.
The laugh of the guy recording is just like The laugh of the guy Who leaked Louis show in The governors club. Did you leak that show?
Nope. This was the only time I've ever seen Louis CK in person.
9:12 So that role he turned down from J.J.Abrams, i looked at his filmography and if this was filmed in 2010 his next film was Super 8 in 2011, so i'm guessing its that? i wonder what character he would have been
Fuck no, no Pasolini. I did it already.
All comments from years ago wew
Well, It was recorded 11 years ago,
I'd just start farting while asking the question.
I must be the only person who can’t make out one word he is saying. Then again I’m in a mail truck that’s loud.
but he is A J A K Q x L abrahms :""D
2:14 well, be careful what you wish for!
