Canada have 650000 hockey players! USA 500000 hockey players! Russia 100000 hockey players! CzechRepulic 100000 hockey players! Finland 73000 hockey players! Sweden 65000 hockey players! Canada lost badly in 2006! Sweden won in the olympic gold in 2006! Canada ten times more hockey players than little Sweden! CzechRepulic won in 1998! Canada 6-7 times more players than CzechRepulic!

tremendous amount of respect to the USAH program. their NTDP has been heating up over the years.
since 2010 the states have won 5 golds, same as canada at the world juniors.
for the 2026 olympics, i like canada to be competitive, but the states has been closing the gap.

Everyone talking about how weak Canada's goaltending is while conveniently ignoring Adin Hill being a top 3 goalie in the league
US and Canada are basically neck and neck, Canada wins out on high end offensive talent but the US have an incredibly solid defense.
I see Brossoit being in mix for Starter/Backup.
People don't show him enough respect he's outplayed vezina Hellebuyck at times,has a cup.
How shaky Jarry,Blackwood,Skinner,Kuemper can be. It will be between Brossoit/Hill/Thompson/Binnington.
Note World Championships just happend and got bronze Binnington didn't prove he deserves to be ahead of anyone.

Everyone talks about Canadas golatending being so bad and USA goaltending being so great yet the USA havent’t had a starting goalie who won the cup since quick in 2014! 2023 Hill Canadian. 2022 Kuemper Canadian. 2021 and 2020 Vasilevsky Russian. 2019 Binnington Canadian. 2018 Holtby Canadian. 2017 and 2016 Murray Canadian. 2015 Corey Crawford Candian. The only non canadian starting goalie that has won the cup since 2015 is Valislvsky. Canadian goalies seem to win when it matters. And forwards espically Canada is miles better. Where Defense id also say Canada is slightly better.

Russia being banned because of Putin is stupid. Their hockey program has nothing to do with Putin or his politics. Plus, do you think Putin is going to care about Russia not being allowed to play? I am certain he doesn't care. If Russia is going to be banned due to non-hockey reasons, then Canada should definitely be banned considering they attempted to cover-up sexual assault in 2018. This was done by Hockey Canada and it is hockey-related, unlike what Putin is doing.
