I got soaked on my hike up Looking Glass Rock!

Hi everyone today’s video will be taking us on a day hike to the top of Looking Glass Rock near Brevard, North Carolina. Looking Glass Rock is a pulton with is a rock formed by cooling magma underground that later rises to the surface. Looking Glass Rock got its name because in the winter water from raining snow melt will freeze on the side of the mountain making it look like a looking glass! It was about 7 miles out and back with 1800 feet in elevation gain and I didn’t make it through without getting hit by the rain for about 30 minutes straight.
