You think they'll ever connect Bay Head to Atlantic City? I think the old right-of-way is still there. I think a great video would be to take NJT to Trenton, transfer to the River Line, get off in Pennsauken, and then head down the AC line. I did that a few years ago. Very scenic ride!
I hope you’re not roping off the second row anymore because I’ve had Septa employees compliment me on my head end ride videos because it helps people learn physical territory. I want to capture the Wawa extension soon. I don’t know how widespread my reputation is for doing those videos there. Are you an engineer?
@@3985uprr sorry for the delay apparently youtube cant notify comment replies. Currently an assistant conductor, but your reputation definitely precedes you. Many of the folks going into PCs are watching your videos and myself as well. As far as the second row it depends on the engineer, my engineer is fine with it as long as you ask permission with me to check with them. Other than that its awesome
@@billrollin2814 Hopefully I have a good reputation 😀😀. I don’t know all of the interlockings. I just mention what I am aware of. I am from Long Island but I enjoy Philadelphia and am an Eagles and Phillies fan. It’s a great time to be a Philadelphia sports rooter. I may invest in a long selfie stick which might help me to overcome that second row issue. I’ve done the whole regional rail system already but I’d like to improve upon sone of them. My recent Thorndale Line videos were much better because I was able to sit in the desired row. It makes a huge difference and stretching my arms really does a number on my muscles
Around 10:45 is Cliff Interlocking. Hunter starts at 11:10. Sadly the speeds County to Midway are only 145, from Midway to CP Clark is 150. CP Clark to Ham is only 135 still, since they aren't finished upgrading the catenary yet.
@@3985uprr CP Clark was added during the 562 project where they eliminated all the wayside automatic signals between County and Ham. Formerly CP Clark was the old 487 automatic location before it was removed from service.
October 19th 24 thanks for the great ride Horn Guy
I really enjoyed watching this video it's so relaxing plus I love your narration
I think Philadelphia is a wonderful City since 2000 St Louis has really gone down the tubes
Superb, your rail knowledge is unmatched 👍
I was gonna say. Does he know what the engineers had for lunch that day?!
Would not surprise me😉
Chicken salad with iced tea and chocolate donuts.
I want to go on a trip with you.....
Love all the knowledge you present.
Ride the whole nec from Washington DC to Boston on the northeast regional

I really enjoy this video good job
Also called the Commodore Barry Bridge
Great you also got to see the King Tut unit!
I've done this ride so many times I know all the towns I pass by.
I work for SEPTA and work a wilmington train every day, 1035 out of 30th street, and yes the stops are that close to each other 🤣

New SEPTA schedules are out Retired Railfan. Including the ones for WAWA.
Great job as usual!
There is a surcharge for the Airport line, all the Airport stations are zone 4 instead of being a lower zone like 2 or 3.
Oh I didn’t know that. It doesn’t matter for me as I have a senior key card I can travel free anywhere in Pennsylvania on Septa
With Amtrak 606 King Tut Originally Coca Cola Before Being Unwrapped Back In It's Original Paint Came Pass At 1:28:47
Newark, DE is my stop
Not to be confused with Newark, NJ 😉
Cool

Knew of Hunter but not Cliff. Was not aware of Clark.
Sounds like you got your PC's up to date.😄
Those speeds are for Acela only.

After you are out of Philadelphia for about 5 minutes, you have inserted arriving into Philadelphia again. I got confused where it left off.
?????
At about 56:41 you re back at Torresdale station.
Yeah Torresdale is where you enter to the Philadelphia city limits
Did you ride any of the C&O 614 trips that Ross Rowland ran from Hoboken to Port Jervis on the old Erie line?
Yes I did
Awesome video. Smartphone or camcorder?
iPhone
Is “horn guy” your real name or are you the guy that loves to “hear horns” ?
