They are the best in terms of viewing your animals because of the slant front. The also have a lot of floor surface area. They are getting harder and harder to find, but I scoop them whenever I can. If you find them, just make sure they aren't brittle. The plastic they used tended to get brittle in the sun or heat. They also have a better balance of ventliation than modern cages. PVC cages are underventilated, and I order mine with double ventilation.
