Everything is so fast and tacky now and it's a joy to see that Tom is still putting out clothing and accessories for the elegant woman. My fashion teacher told me " in today's culture women and men won't wear elegant pieces in fear of not being noticed".
i agree. that statement is so true. people nowadays don't dress for themselves, they dress for being loud and noticed by others. but being elegant and desired is so much more than being noticed by masses.

This show was what is called a Fashion Moment! When the clothes, casting , soundtrack and charged emotions all come together to create and otherworldly experience! Pure genius, creations, that looked like no other designer! Tom Ford, a master who's creativity was rejected by the American Seventh Avenue design establishment single handedly resurrected the house of Gucci! Tom Ford is a testament to believing in ones creative vision no matter how many rejection you suffer!!
The collection overall is great, but it's such a pain in the ass to see some whacked creations here like the opening jacket; Julia, Natasha and Tiuu's bottom at 5:44, 6:07 and 6:20 looked so like they've been put directly onto the washing machine, and the two violet's dresses worn by Liya and Mimi at 6:33 and 6:56 ... I've seen better from project runway eliminated looks. Also Julia and Daria's white gown, Tiuu's pastel pink gown looked extremely unfit, wonder if it was intentional or construction problem, or the models were just skinny.
Could be. Or was it intentional because it looks like there was skin showing on the other side? At the same time, it looks like Liya is hiding the rip with her arms.
The evening gowns are stunning. I noticed a few of them arent carrying evening bags like the green dress. Also not many black or asian models surprise.
A few things… - Some of the girls’ walks looked wobbly because of the fur. - Are the holes in Julia’s skirt at 5:39 intentional? It looks awful. It looks like it’s puckered. - Poor Tiiu having to wear this 6:13
I don't know where Gucci would be without Tom Ford. He reinvented the brand like one else could have done it.
