Tom Whitear yeah that’s true they are stupid money now I’ve just bought an early 1980 mk1 golf Gti cabriolet and it wasn’t cheap to be honest, but worth it though as the prices are only going to go up, will be stupid money in years to come.
@@thevdubber6918 the earlier you go the more you can look to pay, especially if its in good nick! I have an '88 Clipper myself. It was cheap (everything is still factory) but it's an ongoing project
Tom Whitear that’s why I bought myself an early one to hold onto but not going to sell it anyway, mine has the karmann kit on her all factory apart from some different alloys that will be getting changed for some original ones, she does need abit of tlc, but the body is in good condition and the roof is new, they are good little cars
