Wow i just love watching the great work you do on any vehicle maan, im from India and dont own any vehicle, but i truly admire your work stuff, wish i was your friend, and very very hard to see these bloody beauties cars in India
@@tipperscum See original post talks of time machine! That's the context of my reply. It's unbelievable, sitting in 2022, that such a car could once be had for 8450, considering what it would now sell for. That's what I was saying. Shouldn't need to spell it out. I know the original episode is from 2006. I am not an idiot. Please don't be so quick to assume everyone on YT is an idiot. Some of us are not. But your eagerness to correct the 'idiot' makes you look like one. Anyway, as far as it probably still being a cheap 911 for that money in 2006. I can't say without further research, but this episode shows things like covering up holes under the door mirror, which hardly gives the impression of a quality job. And this program has cars often being bought on the cheap, but mostly not really being sold on the cheap. I suspect that 8450 was roughly market value for a LHD 911 in reasonable condition back in 2006. But there's also the WD effect on prices. I think most buyers assumed the fixed cars to be better than they often were. I remember that most cars didn't even get an oil and filter change! While a few cars had extensive restorations, and some were thoroughly gone through, most had quick tart ups for a quick profit.
@@nigel.w i wasn't trying to make you look like an idiot. You quoted - £8450. unbelievable in 2022. I simply said it was from 2006. If you find this offensive I apologise wholeheartedly.
Miss Edd on wheelers dealers he knows his stuff 🇦🇺👍
Big fan of Ed! It’s an art what he does. Fascinating how he reconditions these cars
I always enjoyed watching the show. I also liked when they played the final sale of the project cars. 👍

Happy Top Gear Edd!
Give him his own show..... God he is so good on camera... 😊😊😊😊🏴🇫🇷🇫🇷
“Sorted” and “vague steering” are two terms this show invented. Now all the American RUclipsrs say it
Watching this in 2024 and hearing a classic Targa in this condition going for 8.5 k pounds is insane
What year was this programme aired? 8.5k for a Porsche targa?
2006
Cool
Sorry what 😂 £6000 for a 911. Please please find me a time machine.
And with all the work done...£8450. Unbelievable in 2022.
@@nigel.w except this episode originally in 2 parts is fromm August 2006. But yeah probably still a cheap 911.

@@tipperscum Thanks for that! I apologise for being thin-skinned and bringing you to proffer an apology.
It’s not a vernier gauge it’s a feeler gauge.I am surprised at you ed !
How did they know it had fully synthetic oil in it, just from looking at it?
Nice overspray all over the chassis.
much better
Still can't believe they scripted Edd to stay in the garage. How terribly awkward.
Those European number plates look horrible.
You mean English plates
