What a nice collection! One can see that very many years and a lot of effort have gone into putting it together. The Collins receiver in the video is not really an R 390A model, but actually it is an R 390, without the "A". It is far less common than the 390A, and perhaps more collectable. It uses more tubes than the R 390A, and crystal filters (vs mechanical). It was too expensive to make, so they came up with a cheaper version (which is excellent anyway), and hence the R 390A.

Hi Helge, thanks for showing this great collection! I saw the Audio amplifier with PCL84 tube you built on your website which looks interesting, but the schematic is not downloadable - do you have this available somewhere?

I have a student who is participating in the National History Day competition. She is doing her research on the Enigma. In our research we came across your website and are interested in your photos documenting the history of the enigma. She would like to use these photos in her research paper if you could at all provide a bit more background information. Where did the photos originate from? Do you know the original source? We look forward to hearing from you.
