these versions from before the single and album came out are flawless... I'll always prefer them to the "official" versions but there are so few of them. I think they're half a key lower and definitely much lower tempo... not to mention the sad synths overlaying the whole thing. the texture is so different and the emotion comes through so powerfully. "please, please, please, come back and sing to me, sing it out, now, now!!!" it's raw and beautiful
