As a 15 year old teenager in 2011, facing bullying and peer pressure in high school, this whole album helped me get through some very tough nights. Music is the closest thing we'll ever have to a time machine. Thank you Chris Martin and Coldplay.

I just came to see the video in 4K but it hit me deeply in the feels. So nostalgic, like the need to go back to a place where you were happy but that it doesn't exist anymore.
Every Coldplay song I listened to from the 2000’s does that to me. I wish I could go back and correct a few ‘errors in judgment’ I made.
Feels so beautiful seeing these songs, just for info. That other songs like yellow and the scientist have also been restored to 4k Thank you so much Coldplay for this.

From the moment I heard this song on the radio to this day, I always come back to this song, this song for me is my safe space, my safe haven, it is like a warm hug, it helps me ground my self, it soothes my soul after feeling like a hole is inside my chest, and it fills it with warmth. I remember my dad played this all the time in the car when i was a kid. Especially one memory of when the autumn leaves where falling outside and he was leaving me at daycare. I think that’s my first memory ever of experiencing that moment where life feels so beautiful. And at that moment, this song was playing in the background. Great memory!

No it wasn't.
In all my years of being a fan of Chris Martin, if anything i've learnt from him is to be human! It's so refreshing to see that in this time when everyone trying so hard to get somewhere in life sometime they have to shut down and look the other way, Martin showed that it's okay if you can't reach all your dreams it's just shows that you are human and there's no shame in it.
He has a way of making you comfortable and understanding through his music, which is really what makes the whole band special. Especially at the end of "The Hardest Part" after he sings "Everything is torn apart" the way he says that next line just makes you feel like he understands all the problems you've been going through and its that connection that really just gives the songs passion and thoughtfulness. He really is an amazing guy- im so excited to be seeing them in July
