What an interesting machine! I had no idea such a thing existed. Initially, I thought the S & P Railroad must be running right along the wave pool. Nice video - looks like a fun trip!
They have one over in Australia that I was checking out on youtube. Plunger type mechanics in the middle of a man made lake so that there is a continuous break all around the lake . It even has different bottom topography so that the waves break different as you rotate around in different class sections to catch bigger waves . These ideas are mind blowing to what was possible a few decades ago. Just the fact these are built and running smooth is amazing !
Yeah that Aussie wave lake looks insane. It looks so natural that the shots not showing the “plunger” that makes the waves just look like a real shore break.
Nice stuff, I hear it's spendy, but damn.....that welcome with all the gear, room to stay in with amenities......the experience of riding a wave outside of the ocean......if I could, I would!
I would leave it to the pros to do that kinda stuff on this wave, super easy to get left behind after any little movement. Like you saw i barely even tried to do a turn the whole time😂and if you fall trying to do one its like the soul gets sucked out of your body because you have to watch the next person waiting get barreled on YOUR wave. And "minor" wouldn't be the best word to describe that barrel section. 😦
As a boomer, I kinda get it … surfing globally has gotten so crowded … only remote slabs left … and this artificial wave thing for the pros … but for me it was always about the exciting adventure of not knowing what I was going to find. So can’t excited about this perfect wave, sorry.
Une vague toutes les 10 minutes je crois !!! 😳😳😱😱😱 Sans parler du prix, donc réserver aux très très riches, donc très très dommage pour les autres !!! 😔😔😔
the wave looks perfect but is tricky to ride. always soo much water pushing up the face and is easy to get left behind on a cutback up high. thanks Sess for letting me ride. they do have every wave video captured for you and stills to boot. $3K? dunno
Sorry For the claims
Yea maybe a little to many for a wave pool😂
Production quality on this one is INSANE

💪🏽❤️
Country Club for surfers.... Who'd a thunk it would ever happen ?
Nice video, glad for you to experience it. 👊💯
pluses: not fighting for waves. minuses: not afforadable
Definitely took a while to finally go😂
Great vid! Seeing your genuine stoke for the day and the experience was super cool. I wish your dad was my dad!
So epic Koa
I need a G-Land edit
NO idea how I got here, but that was epic!!!
Hahaha thank u!!
SO sick dude, what a perfect wave. funny ahh title tho bruh
You just don’t know the truth
Pretty cool experience for you! Thanks for sharing. Who knew there was such a thing? PS Call your grandma 😊❤❤❤
Yeah KUWADA🤙🏼
💪🏽
💪🏽
I like Ochy’s surf lake concept better.
Somewhat agree yea. Waco is pretty sick too.
Love the Golden Arrow nod...❤
Bet that place only uses green energy…
Want to see something like this built in a loop.. You could have an endless wave and barrel.
That would be insane😂
One of Slaters early proposals was for just that. Nothing came of it for some reason.
@@mitseraffej5812that was my dad’s invention it was called surf the ring. The main reason it couldn’t be built was because of cost to produce

Great Job Koa!! Glad you FINALLY got to GO! Best surfing EVER! And best editing and music!! Really professional!!

SO Sick!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Got it wired now. Is the bottom vinyl covered concrete? If so, brutal impact to the body?
Definitely hurts a little bit but not as bad as you would think, heard Waco is worse

And my question is it vinyl covered concrete?@@KoaWatson
Can it get bigger in size ? this is small , perfectly small ..
Sorry Dude. It's for the Rich & Pros. I would love to surf it but I got more chance of winning the lotty mate.
Definitely took a while to finally go but its a trip if you ever get the chance!
Great video.
What is the title of the soundtrack?
How about a top turn, cutback, something other than crouching for a minor tube ride?

It’s not exactly the desert. It’s one of the most fertile agricultural regions on the planet.
Well then drive trough a desert..
Dad's backside pigdog!
Like epic dude !

Personally i wish i grew up in your generation. Sounds like a dream to me.
Definitely relate to this. I guess at least 42 more years of surfing left cause I’m shooting for 100. Living my best life now… look how far we came.
Dream time!🤯
Dream would be to surf that wave but I don't have no $10,000 to waste on surfing for one day. ☹
Yep. Definitely took a bit of saving😂
What was the truth bit referencing?
What if they built one under the Huntington beach pier?
yep... great for the pros...
Vegan food?! 😅
nice...hope the ocean gets less crowded when all the rich kids go to wavepools....

Looks like people learning

Yea, really hard to get the hang of it at first. Its definitely worth it when you get the hang of it tho!
3k? Seriously?
😂😂😂
o score hahahahaa sorry..
You have to match the exact speed to keep up with the wave😂 yes, that’s surfing
meh kinda, regularly you can do a cutback without going 5 feet behind the face. Dose not feel like a normal wave at all.
A guess is poor people got to keep surfing the ocean
Tomorrow until a year ago
