Nice performance ! I did start to learn it last week with left hand notes on the same octave, but I face too much difficulties to cross hands (finger of left hand on the same note than a right hand finger) so I did change to your video way to play left hand (much easier and fluid). Can you tell me if you use a damper pedal ? and if so, where/when do you maintain/release it ? Thx a lot !
Hey, I don't think a damper pedal is necessary, the song has quite a lively, bubbly feel, so lots of staccato suits it well. That being said, I do sometimes play it with a pedal, in sync with each group of 3 8ths of the left hand, or even sustaining through the whole bar. Play around and see which you prefer.
@@VeliGebrev thx a lot, I'm currently appreciating much a little bit of damper as you said, every group of 3, with some more here and there depending on the flow ! Anyway, I'll start learning Rue des Cascades and that's way more a challenge ;)
Hehe, well spotted, you're the first one to point it out. The video was done in a different take than the audio, so the timing isn't 100%, also I made a mistake at one point where I am actually pressing a different key to what is heard :D
Oui, le lien est dans la description. Je viens de simplifier la main gauche pour jouer les 1er et 3ème + 5ème des accords sur la même octave (Google translate)

Very nice. A couple of your keys sound like they're a little off. Yes?

Il y a une partition pour cette interprétation ?
