after 20 + years having a sun room we decided to put Heavy Duty Insulating Film Window Kit on the INSIDE of our big windows for the last two years. Keeps the dust, dirt, fly's, wasps, and other bugs and dirt out!!! I used to work hard cleaning fall and spring. Now I no longer have that work to do. Stays so nice and clean!! Wish we would have done that years ago. We thought it would make it hot but not only is it no hotter than other years BUT warmer in the winter. :)

I've been cleaning my cast iron with water and soap (if needed) for 50 years. I dry them by hand and then place them on a warm burner. I usually wipe a little oil or pam on them if they need it. No rust, no sticking. I couldn't cook without them.

Would you please tell me what cordless vacuum you were using and if you would buy that one again if it quit working? I have a sunroom that we glasses in after 15 years of pollen and mildew! Now all I have to deal with is pet hair😂. Thanks for sharing your safe cleaning recipes too!

I had a porch that got pine tree pollen all over it and it made it miserable to sit out there…my solution was inexpensive clear shower curtains hung over the screen windows…..some have small weights in the hems to weigh it down to keep straight.
I used heavy jute string across thru the holes and wrapped each two panel sections with a hook every section of window…that way you can open the ones you want for air….also made it nice when rain was blowing it didn’t get the furniture wet….

I just got a cast iron pan. I noticed you using yours on the flat top stove, which is I what I have. I thought you could only use them on gas or in the oven. So am I wrong about that?
I have been using them on a flat stove top for over 11 years!

I thought cast iron couldn’t be used on glass cook tops because it would scratch and or break it? Is this not fact? I miss using my cast iron but thought it was only for gas stoves.
I have been doing it for 11+ years with zero issues!
Just make sure not to shake it back and forth on the cook top like some chefs do with other pans and you'll be fine ❤
I love your channel and I in Australia. I hope this doesn’t sound rude but I work for an ears, nose, throat specialist over here and from listening to you I think you should get checked out as your voice is extremely husky. I am not being negative or nasty just saying it would be a good idea 😊

Everybody cleans or takes care of their cast iron differently seems like. My mama made us wash dishes when we were young and never told us about how to clean the cast iron. She took good care of them and I have one of her frying pans that I treat very well. I wash it with Dawn but I run water over the top of the bottle to get grease fighting liquid on it but I season it very well afterwards. To me I think it's disgusting just wipe it after using it. I've seen people put that on YT. It's gross.
Wendy, you can just wipe it, that high heat will kill more germs than any soap will.

What I have noticed but never wanted to mention because I didn’t want to be perceived as a hater because I do like your channel. But my concern is that you seem to be short of breath when you talk. I thought perhaps it was the baby leaning against your chest but I notice it even when you aren’t holding the baby. That maybe be your “normal” but thought I’d mention it
yeah I have been concerned about that. she needs two days of and a full body check up and to make less meals its all strains
