I’m 28 and own a 21 Supra. My credit score is like 740. I financed as well, and my payment is like $690 per month. I pay my insurance in full for the year and that comes out to around $2700 for 12 months. Just adding some insight!
@@Illness.og. the B58 is super reliable. It’s probably BMW’s best motor right now in regards to reliability. I daily my Supra and it has around 23k miles. No issues so far. Just basic maintenance stuff like oil changes.

Civic is a great car. You can always trade in the civic later. Also, the Supra can be a bit tail happy so I would get some experience with a car that's less likely to step out on you. Also a few years of good driving will go a long way. I only pay 120$ a month for full coverage with a low deductible.
Recently bought a 2023 Black 3.0 Premium for 58k. Came out to 62k after tax, im 23, young n Vietnamese just like you so I can really relate. Followed your content and for a while too since your civic days! I used this market to leverage my chance to get the Supra. IT is my dream entry level car and I sold my 21' civic ive had for 5 yrs and they bought it for MSRP LOL. Then i bought a 2022 civic sport touring in 2021 and drove it for a year and sold it for 2k over MSRP. Used that money for a down payment on the Supra, and threw in an extra 15k from my savings. Now i pay $457 a month and $98 for insurance. IF your parents are generous enough to let you umbrella under their insurance it really helps a lot. I pay for all my dues as an adult but living with parents at this age and having them allow my under their insurance is great! I pay them my amount and just benefit from the reduced interest rates. I want to mod the car but with rent, and billls idk how I can buy all my dream mods man. Do you finance?>

Im 20 Years old. 750 Credir score( the only thing I had on it was a 20k loan for a 2019 WRX ). And I was denied for a 7.49% apr on a 2023 Manual Supra with 10k down. Too young and too thing of a file even with perfect payment for two years on my WRX. I had Lease my 2023 Supra, 3yrs/36000 miles. I pay $630 a month and insurance is $340 a month(with clean record no tickets and accident and full coverage). When im 21 it will drop signifigantly. Some similar number to what I pay for mine as you do your Supra but mine was brand new off the lot with 18 miles(also paid MSRP $54k ish). Very doable, just work hard for what you want and you can do anything.
@@Burgerbroclub I do live with my mom and I work with my Dad so I get paid pretty well for my age doing warehouse work. Just got insurance down from turning 21 with a clean record as well. Wouldnt neccesarily say do a Lease. But with Interest rates being so high and my current situation its not a bad deal for me. Keep working hard and you can easily obtain one. If youre not too pressed about getting a used one I would go that route. I just had a bad experience with my WRX being used and had a crappy preious owner. Plenty of great GR Supras everywhere since theyre still kind of new
