FIRST LOOK At TRI-RAIL Cabcar 510 & 503 In NEW WRAP, P5 & K5LA Horn Action & More At Hialeah 3-30-24

- It is Easter weekend, and in this video, we take a ride on a southbound Tri-Rail train from Sheridan Street station down to Metrorail Transfer station in Hialeah, FL. On the way, we take a look at the equipment in Hialeah yard consisting of CSX, Amtrak, and Tri-Rail. Some BL36PHs were being rebuilt, and several cars were newly wrapped, including cabcar 503. We also see cabcar 510, finally home after repairs due to a garbage truck incident in Lake Worth. The car had an all new cab, was heavily tagged, and was missing its plow and horn. At Metrorail Transfer station, we see a few MiamiCentral shuttles, as well as more equipment in the yard. As we head back north to Sheridan Street, car 504 with a good horn, sounded like a steam locomotive with its flat spot.

5:42 I never see the 510 before from the accident of 2016 and what does tri rail is going to to do in 510 ? 5:45 I like how my favorite cab car 513 has a new wrap and I hope 513 will return to service again and hope the other train cars and cab cars will have a new wrap
513 is most likely repaired waiting for a consist.

5:25: there is so many brookviles just sitting there waiting for a new consist and engines.
5:28: 501 is sitting there.
5:31: 507 is just sitting there with its company by 503 which has the new scheme. but poor 503 because he has no mirrors, he’s dirty, and he doesn’t have the one headlight he needs.
5:35: 506 just sits there with more coaches.
5:36: good to see 1004 rewrapped into the new scheme from a go transit scheme.
5:42: 510 is back from the Alstom plant in New York but has no horn and facing south instead of north. But also you could see 816 and 815 behind 510.
5:45: 510 has some company by 1004 and 513 which are in the new scheme but also behind 510 is rewrapped 1102, 513 should be returning soon.
5:49: 517 is still sitting there doing nothing but waiting for repairs.
Also 511 and 519 is nowhere to be seen.

So much has been newly re-wrapped... 513 is also now re-wrapped, 1004 finally got completed after having waited out for so long with its GO paint showing, and yet poor 503 still has no mirrors...
I just wonder what horn 510 is gonna get. Is it gonna be a Raised Letter K5LA, one of the old GP49 K5LAs, or maybe even 807's P5?
What tri rail is going to do 510 ? Since it came back home here since from the accident of lake worth incident
They're gonna eventually flip it back around, give it a new horn and plow, re-wrap it into the New Scheme, and then they'll return it to service.
Maybe a rewrap? Tri rail gives it the k5la of 817 because 817 is retired and scrapped. And now after it will not be facing south.
Where could be 505? Where do you guys think
505 is most likely inside the shops getting work done on it. I would assume the same for 511 too.
I caught 510 in Lakeland, FL around Winston Yard when it was on it's way down there. I got a video of 510 on my channel sitting in the siding and being pulled into Winston Yard. It had those graffiti markings on it while it was up here.
