Turkey has used Super Cobra for years. And with this experience, he reproduced the A-129 as a helicopter above 2 class. Turkey is experienced in this field as it has intervened in terrorist organizations in Northern Iraq for years. In addition, engines with a higher performance than the LHTEC engine are in the process of qualification. In short, the T-129 is currently the fastest growing attack helicopter.

@@UMAKEMESMILESWACKIN You're wrong, my friend. It does have it, but not much. There are 2 reasons for this.
1- Drones are already doing enough. They're cheap and don't put you at risk.
2- Approval from the US Senate was awaited for the export of T-129s to Pakistan. And the US has imposed an embargo on the LHTEC engine, as its use of the helicopter, which is a terrorist organization in northern Iraq (which he admits), does not comply with the interests of the middle east. And it was not eventually sold to Pakistan.

    Nice video.
I hope the Philippines are also considering the Turkish drones like TB2, Anka, Akinci and Aksungur. This would improve the fighting capabilities of the armed forces tremendously. These drones are very cheap and shown to be able to actually win wars in Syria, Libya and Armenia due to the high accuracy of the MAM-L missiles.
10 TAK129, 10 Akinci, 20-40 TB2 and a shit load of laser guided missiles like CIRIT/MAM-L would be a deadly combination. All this for the cost of 3-5 modern fighters.

As an American that makes the Philippines my home I'm proud to watch this video. Whatever defense weapons the Philippines chooses its better for the defence of the country, and its citizens. Lately china has been a bully. This country needs good equipment, skilled pilots as they do have, and be a show of force to any aggressor. From outside the country or within. I have a beautiful wife, 6 year old daughter, live in southern Leyte. I would fight right next to any philippine citizen to defend this country. Use a stick if I had to. But I would be right by your side proudly.

Some people complain why they didn't picked the Cobra, besides budget they need it immediately and US couldn't give them a quicker delivery. Aside from that the T129B suits the Jungle in the Philippines it's lightweight and smaller than the other choices, it has good operational range and has stealth capabilities which even helps them.

Can't just buy an Apache or Viper even if they can, it has to be compatible of it's playing field bigger doesn't always means it's better. Bigger also means easier Target to hit the smaller and much more agile T129B definitely fits for them better glad to see them making moves on improving their defense, because Terrorist groups are also improving can't let them be ahead of their Country.

Turkey built an delivered fist of its own turboshaft engines ktj1400 to tai. Engines wil be tested under t625 gokbey transport helicopter program. Thanks to US double standards and sanctions, Turks have learned valuable lessons. When Philippines get their choppers, they will also have technology transfer and ability to use their own arsenal of weapon platforms at their will. This is the key offer why Philippines picked T-129 over other stronger competitives. Turkey learned to not scare your customers with prohibitions and sanctions, thanks to USA. Turks are selling Bayraktar tb-2 drones to Poland and Ukraine with tech transfer, Milgem corvettes to Pakistan too. Pakistan will be able to use Russian anti air misilles and their own anti ship misilles on that corvette. Isnt it tempting!!!

But i can say, just for the attack helicopter title, even the US has 2 names, AH-1Z and AH-64 apache, Turkey is pursuing 4 different project and planning to export them in couple years. You already know the T-129, also there is a T929 (ATAK 2, kinda AH-64 role), T-629 unmanned helicopter, and also a manned T-629 is under development.

I remember at one time we had a couple U2 spy planes in Turkey also. I would imagine that Russia and the United States are using that proxy war to test each other’s equipment also I wonder if that Israeli F 35 that they said was damaged by a birdstrike in Syria was affected by that Russian missile system in Syria. The stuff to UC going on now just remind me in the 1980s so many things that are going on that are very similar.
