Hi Elisabeth! Thanks so much for making this insightful review with such great footage. As always, job well done! It always makes me really happy to see the genuine excitement when people get their Endless frames and skate them for the first time. I’m really looking forward to your next skate on the 3x110 setup!
Hello Brad and thanks for looking into my humble first attempts. I can only imagine how much joy and excitement you must have witnessed live when you introduced the frames to your friends, for whom you developed them :D
@@WitchonWheels I always enjoy watching your videos. It’s funny you mentioned my friends’ first reactions. They were actually like “wait, so you spent how much to make these things??”. Haha. :P They are all still enjoying themselves so it turned out to be worth the investment.
@@endlessblading @Endless Blading Co. And the joy is contagious. Lately a kid pointed at me and told his mom how cool the skates looked. If somebody three decades younger than you finds cool what you wear, you can be sure to have made a good purchase :D
Nice video, I’d forgotten I’d seen this a while ago and helped me decide to buy the Endless frames. I still have to buy a good boot to wear, probably FR with a good liner, who knows 🤷♂️. Keep making excellent videos Lisi, you’ve inspired me to always try hard 😃😃😃. Mike 🙂
Thank you ☺ Glad to hear it helped. The Endless frames are so much fun and also versatile. I wish there had been something like that back in the days when I started skating.
These frames just arrived in the mail for me yesterday. Couldn’t wait to get started. They make such a huge difference. Also glad I just found your channel!
Hi, I'm French, very good roller POWERSLIDE Freeskate roller HC EVO PRO with trinity frame, Nilo's card made me laugh. You have a soothing voice. Very good video👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Hi @hideouscreations and thanks for joining in again after such a long time :D I'm happy to be back and to be able to share all the fun I had on wheels this summer.
Awesome! I just got my endless 100 frames not too long ago but I’ve been nursing a bruised MCL for 2 months. I’ve only tried them once. But I love the way they look on the HC Evo 2021.
Thanks and congrats on your new skates and frames :D Yes, be careful with your MCL and take it slow. The nimble rockered setup is not very easy on your knees. Mine had to get used to them after many months on flat long frames. Get well soon and have fun skating.
thank you for this video!! I am currently in the middle of deciding between the endless 80s and endless 90s (because I want that long wheelbase) and having trouble deciding, it was nice to see your experience on these!
Thanks. That comparison will be a bit difficult, because my friend's E2 skates don't fit me and my Evo boots don't fit her. But we could place our setups next to each other and describe our subjective impressions, if that helps :D
Good to see new videos. We have literally only had 12 days hot this year in UK. the rest is mostly rain (i dont know if you follow witty skater but his output has dropped drastically this year because of poor weather) i've only watered the plants up the garden about 5 times this summer. I was going to get the endless frames back in late may/early June. Saved the page on Loco skates, went back the next day and they had sold out. Nice you got yours from Lino. You were flying on those 90mm. They looked to stick out the back a bit far (hope you didnt clip the back wheel on cross overs.) but you will have a smaller boot size than me. However the length did look stable. I have skated a natural rocker, the long way round by wearing the wheels out until it happened. By then my wheels were 76mm instead of 84mm. I am going to have to get a set. Take care All the best.
We were so lucky in this part of Germany. Others had a catastrophic amount of rain. Down here, it was just enough rain for nature to flourish, which makes great surroundings for skating (and videos, of course :D) A naturally developed rocker sounds interesting as well. Did you move your wheels from one side to the other, just turn them or keep them in their position? Mine tend to get a bit one-sided unless I turn or move them regularly. Have a great new week.
@@WitchonWheels I rotated my wheels every 10-15 sessions and one day i was rotating them and just ran them over a smooth surface and noticed that some were not touching the floor, so i jiggled them around and had the ones that didnt touch, front and back on each skate. found turning much easier but still very stable. (only 1-2 mm difference.) i think it was mostly wear on the wheels that had predominantly been at the front. they were still pretty even profile as that is what i pay atention to when i rotate. That and dirt. Take care good week.
@@klisher I find it interesting how much of a difference a few mm can make. Before I rotate the 90mm wheels, I'll have to check out the instructions on how to maintain the natural rocker.
@@WitchonWheels Yes. Becuase if you run the middles wheels so that it skates flat and then rotate, it wont work (the rocker will be twice the size when you put the middle wheels outside.) I am thinking you will have to rotate twice as often as usual. Might be worth finding a page with rockering set up and maintenance. I used to have one saved but i got a new laptop and dont have those pages now. I know who would have a good idea on how to do it on RUclips and probably worth asking. Deez skates channel. ( you follow him already i think ive seen comment by you on some of his videos.) Take care
@@klisher Thanks for the tip. You might be right, I also vaguely remember one of the famous channels explain how to rotate wheels to maintain a natural rocker. Same phenomenon here with the typical problems of a new device, only in my case a (not entirely) new smartphone. At least the Relive app works now for a satellite view of my trips to enhance my videos :D
Glad to see you again, arent theese frames a bit long for your shoe size? Also, since u got the trinity mount, how are u evos holding up, where they smart investment ?
Welcome back as well and thanks for your question. I'm quite used to even longer frames (the Powerslide Rapid Frames for 3x125mm, which you can see at the beginning of the video). So there was no problem at all. Coming from a shorter frame, you might have to watch your step and slowly get used to them. I wish, these frames had existed sooner. In that case, changing from my very short 1x100mm frames to the Rapid frames wouldn't have been such an extreme step.
Wow! They look awesome! I even might consider purchasing these frames too. I miss the manoeuvrability of my long speed frames, which brings me in awkward situations sometimes...(or it’s just a lack of my skating skills actually...)
Thank you. Certainly no lack of skills in your case. It's just the way long frames and a flat setup react. Sometimes I feel like a clumsy duck on my speed frames :D
Have you ever felt the need of wearing full face helmet. I recently started skating for almost 8 months and never hit my head while falling down. But few days back on a slight slope on the trail, my chin got brushed against the asphalt surface. However it was not terrible, but now I am thinking of wearing some full face light helmet. What's your opinion?
Good question. As I kid I also bashed my chin open (and still have a scar). After that I used a hockey helmet for a while. It had a piece of plastic attached to the strap, which covered my chin. However, it was more-less a toy helmet and quite crappy otherwise. Also the position of the strap right over my chin was probably not the safest to keep the helmet in place. I've observed downhill skaters wear full face helmets like motorcyclists, but I don't have any experience myself and couldn't tell, if they impair your vision or mobility in any way during urban or long distance skating. I've avoided falling on my chin after my injury by learning to quickly move my elbows, hands and knees in position to fall and slide on my protective pads, whenever the danger arose.
I don't know about 4x80, which I've never skated. However, I do notice a slight difference between 4x90, 3x100 and 3x110, but it could also be partly due to the harder 90mm wheels.
I am contemplating between getting the 90/110 Endless frame on my FR1 2018 model or the 90/110 Endless Trinity from my Powerslide 3x110. I have intuition liner which i add on both boots. I prefer the feeling of the boot on the FR but i feel maybe the trinity will give me better stability. any thoughts?
If you already have a comfy and supportive boot-liner-combo, that's half the battle and worth much more than the thousandth of a millinewton more powertransfer or stability of a three point mount. The Endless frames are so stable, you'll most likely not notice a difference between the mounting systems. I hope that helps a little :)
