What I hate about this is how it splits up streaming services ATM. In Germany it's like you need Sky for game of thrones, (so far) Netflix for the marvel stuff, Dzone for championsleague, etc. Now we'd have to subscribe to Disney for whatever series they'll continue on their channel not knowing if they'll stay adult-friendly or get turned into stupid kids shows.
I would say arrow and flash at their primes( s1 and s2) we're better. Of course if you also take in the other seasons of arrow and flash then daredevil wins no contest

Randy Spears But the Disney brand is more important for them. Either they'll run two parallel services (D+ and Hulu, for example, or something under a different brand, let's say Fox+) or they'll just forsake that demographic
@@AnyMe223 You make a good point that they could shift that content onto Hulu. I'm wondering how many streaming services people are willing to pay to get the content they want? For instance, are people willing to pay for Netflix to get the Stranger Things type content, Amazon for Bosch and Mrs. Maisel, and Hulu for the Handmaid's Tale...and then add D+ for Marvel content? Maybe people will jump in and out of services as the content they want appears on the different services?
Can u guys do a video on what is happening with Netflix. So talk about the cancellation of originals (so the rise and fall of them). Also the upcoming shows/films. Maybe talk about some of your issues with netflix uk and usa. And maybe talk about Disney+
There goes most of my motive for sticking with Netflix. Up until now I have maintained a permanent subscription. I guess it is time to stick Netflix into a rotation, a few months on Netflix to see everything I want that they've released over the last year, then a few months with Disney, then a few months with Amazon, then some other service, then back to Netflix for a few months. Unless a service is coming out with a bingeable series that "I" want to watch, every month or two, I see no point to maintaining year round subscriptions. As of right this instant, with the Marvel lineup cancellations, Netflix has only 'one' series I can think of off the top of my head that I look forward to.
If they were all to appear in Avengers 4 I would cum on the spot. There's that selfie of Gabriel Luna (Ghost Rider, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) on a plane next to Frank Grillo (Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, Captain America/Avengers), when the latter was going to Atlanta to finish shooting Avengers 4. If they were to ever bring their TV properties into the big screen, aiding on the defeat of the Mad Titan seems to be the perfect reason to do so.
Well, Disney has a controlling share in Hulu so some speculate that when Disney+ launches, Disney will put their more adult content on Hulu instead. I'd heard previously that these shows were Netflix's to cancel per their deal with Marvel/Disney and Disney had no say but now I'm finding that rather hard to believe. If Daredevil is cancelled then Jessica Jones and Punisher will more than likely be cancelled as well. Hard not to conclude the Mouse is involved.
There are two problems with that. First, by most reports, the Disney service is meant to be family focused. Mature series like Daredevil don’t really fit. Second, Netflix retains the rights to the first 3 seasons. It makes little sense to produce a 4th season of something that new viewers will have to subscribe to your competition for if they want to watch from the start.
THEY should try the Sherlock Holmes style of putting up a few, feature length episodes every season or so with higher budget and better writing instead of antiquated tv show series style. Maybe that would improve things ... I have no clue but seems like The quality all around may be better that way. (Aside from Netflix vs Disney thing)
The netflix shows are getting canceled because disney is pulling all fox and Disney content from the service. If marvel studios decides to relaunch it for future seasons it'll be on hulu which is where their more adult shows will be.
Punisher S02 and JJ S03 will air, and then both IPs will be cancelled. DD was the strongest property, it even spun-off The Punisher, and they had to cancel it. Disney gave the order, all their properties are leaving Netflix for good as soon as they finish production
Thank you for the video explanation. I'm in such shock, I started the series back in 2015 and I loved every single episode. I hope to see Charlie Cox, Kristyn Ritter, and Mike Colter do something with these characters on any platform wether it be on Disney's streaming service or on the big screen. But I feel personally this news was enough for me to pull out of Netflix's service altogether. It was the first Netflix produced show, and that kept me interested up till now. I sure as hell ain't keeping it so they can keep doing shows like Santa Clarita Diet and the Riverdale like Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot. They even canceled American Vandal which was a gold mine. Just keep giving me reasons to leave Netflix pls, I'd rather take my money into something else.
This is a sad day i loved the netflick's series I can only hope these actors can get work in otjer projects and that maybe we will see dare devil again in some other capacity
dancedj2k2 he said that daredevil and Jessica jones were the only shows still in production but in reality the punisher was also in production so yes he did forget or who ever wrote the script forgot
I'm in the matrix with deja vu at 3:33. This is all about the mouse getting their streaming service going and getting all it's properties back and it sucks! At least Daredevil went out on top! I said the moment the last episode finished that it felt more like a series finale and not a season finale.I'm glad the writers and producers saw the writing on the wall and closed out the series as they did. Bravo Daredevil - we will miss you!
Daredevil was the best Netflix had to offer! I hope Charlie Cox's Daredevil appears in the MCU or Disney+ or whatever. I wasn't surprised that Luke Cage was cancelled after the end of season 2, but Daredevil really had something good going for it. They even had Bullseye lined up and Fisk finally had his title of Kingpin.
Why are we even surprised? We knew this was coming. Once Marvel/Disney got all their Fox characters back and once they made that Disney Streaming service, we knew these shows wouldn't last on Netflix. I wouldn't be surprised if these shows ultimately end up on the Disney streaming service with some sort of parental guidance control or just release them on Hulu in which Disney does have ownership stake in.
It isn't so much on Netflix's part. At least for the Marvel shows. Disney wants a monopoly on the other streaming services and is trying to take out big shows from Netflix to get rid of them.
netfixs never owned any of the marvel hero's the where simply on loan and had to pay per episode (why iron fist and luke cage where cut back to ten eps) Disney would have just uped there price and as the shows aren't pulling in the views they once did Netflix has no choice but to let them go or be at a loss
Daredevil season 3 was literally the only reason I got Netflix and marvel is saying it had low viewership but it was the best season of any defender show
It was not Netflix, don't you smell the cheese? It was the fucking mouse trying to bring Netflix down after they made a successful business of streaming TV, because they need more money to keep Walt's head on the freezer
See, at first, people were speculating that the first 2 cancelations were to make way for new shows, like Heroes for Hire and Daughters of the Dragon. Now, with Daredevil gone too, surely Jessica Jones will be gone too. My hope is, with Disney's streaming service coming, they find it in their heart to revive the shows on their own platform. I'm still pissed thou. When they announced the streaming service, they reassured fans that the Netflix shows would not be affected. I'm not liking the way things are turning up, cause you be damm sure the disney streaming service will be A LOT more family friendly, so if the shows do come back, they probably will suffer major changes. Pray for The Punisher, you guys. If Netflix ditches him too, he wont be picked back up by disney.
Fight Disney, they are the ones at fault. And fight Marvel as well! Once they were doing good for the first time in decades, with the kick off of the MCU they sold everything to Disney! If Marvel Studios had remained as its own, we could continue enjoying these series. But the fucking mouse showed up with tons of money and those idiots at Marvel sold the golden goose
I've read the Netflix series aren't moving to the streaming service. Reasons: 1. The movie division and the TV division are separate and their respective executive/creative teams don't care for one another. The movie side (which is under tighter control by Disney) thinks the TV side fucked up by not fixing the creative issues evident from Iron Fist forward. Some exceptions exist, but there were enough stumbles for it to matter. The streaming service is run by the movie division and Disney doesn't want to touch the TV shows. 2. The Marvel TV/Netflix contract makes a move to the streaming service problematic. Disney *could* wait a few years and resurrect these shows. It doesn't want to. My understanding of what I've read is Netflix retains the broadcast rights for the shows. Those rights do expire, but it'll hardly matter if Disney's moved on. Tangential to these things, the cancellation had as much to do with Netflix wanting Marvel TV to reduce the episode count from 13 to 10. Marvel TV dug in. Netflix pulled the plug. Look up Alan Sepinwall (@sepinwall) on Twitter. He's the TV critic for Rolling Stone and is pretty dialed in with all of this.
My only hope is that it'll show up on Hulu, which Disney owns a stake in. It helps that Hulu is already doing Runaways, which is currently producing season 2.
Ok Daredevil people, go online to Netflix Help website (for whichever region you are in), sign in and look in the list of help topics, find 'Quick Links' and then 'Request TV shows or movies', you get 3 choices, I put Daredevil season 4 three times, it may do nothing, but if we 'request bomb Netflix that may help. I'm waiting a week for results/news, then I'm cancelling my subscription, I'll shout back here, maybe we all can do a mass cancel subscription as a next step.
I think the question is will Charlie Cox and all the great characters move to an all new MARVEL streaming service? Picking up from where they left off i.e bullseye (fantastic character) kingpin, Karen Page, Foggy etc. Now that would make sense, take an asset back in-house and weaken your competition. A reboot would be risky and a complete cancellation would be very odd. I'd love to see an MCU Daredevil, maybe link up with Spiderman, Capt and Hawk eye. But yeah a huge loss for Netflix, it was the one show I'd consider getting the service for; brilliant writting and story arcs, especially Karen Page and Wilson Fisk.
I'm not happy. Daredevil was my favorite show on Netflix. I'm going to cancel my Nexflix subscription! The cancellation of Daredevil was a huge mistake!!!! Netflix to me doesn't care about the viewers!!!
I certainly wont be getting a Disney+ subscription to watch PC/Family friendly watered down version of DareDevil, or Jessica Jones / The Punisher / Luke Cage / Iron Fist
Sadly they are not, it was Disney who pulled the plug here. Best case scenario the mouse said "you can make one more season, then we are taking over on Hulu" and since season 03 ending was good enough of a wrap up, Netflix decided not to invest money in a property that's not their own anymore
I hope Marvel picks this up and adds it to their Disney+ channel keeping the cast and writers. We need a continuation. The season was perfect but nowhere near a closure for the character. He is a part of the MCU streets like Spidey, Luke, Jessica, Punisher and Iron Fist. Bring Moon Knight too and bring them all together in bigger MCU series.
I get the feeling that Disney secretly jacked the price it was charging Netflix to use their characters in order to make them less appealing to bring back, basically sabotaging them on purpose with the intention of bringing them back on their own streaming service
I’m still upset. The only shows I watch are the Netflix marvel shows, GOT, West world, and stranger things. Soooo they just canceled more than half of the only shows I watch
Netflix saying that Season 3 not being a cliffhanger being one of the reasons they cancelled it is an absolute load of shite, since it didn't exactly slow them down from cancelling Iron Fist and Luke Cage, 2 shows with massive cliffhangers. They're just trying to put the blame on the writers more so than themselves.
A lot of these new streaming services need to get it into their heads, I’m not going to be paying for every streaming service out there and rather than making me want to join their service it actually just annoys me that they can’t work together and expect me to subscribe to them all because yet another company wants a piece of the pie.
There should be at least one or two characters from the marvel TV-series that is part of a movie. ATM the TV-shows are in a weird spot where they are cannon, but at the same time aren't really. For example no character of the TV shows seems to be affected by Thanos wiping out half of all live or the Defenders blowing up a skyscraper in the center of New York right before the avengers eyes is never even mentioned on the movies. Marvel did a great job connecting their movies together, but failed connecting the TV shows and putting Daredevil, Jessica Jones or Quake in a movie at least as a side character would help that issue.
This all but confirms that the Netflix marvel shows are being killed off by the house of mouse.
I'm not sure why it "all but confirms". They just killed Daredevil, they've pulled the trigger.

Good luck with that...
Daredevil was one of the best ( if not the best ) Comic book tv series on atm.
I would say arrow and flash at their primes( s1 and s2) we're better. Of course if you also take in the other seasons of arrow and flash then daredevil wins no contest
The Shadow the flash was pretty great with the first two seasons or so , but I just felt daredevil was a more consistent show with how it was written and the tone. Also so many great actors in daredevil who played their characters so perfectly. .
@@batmanatemyshoe4601 Flash has great actors too. I also found the writing to be slightly better in the first two seasons. Daredevil also had only one great villain, while the flash had two. granted I still haven't watched s3 so I don't if there is any other villain on the same level as kingpin
The saddest news I have heard ever in this channel
Fucking assholes,I'm guessing Punisher is next
The saddest news is people actually liked DD.
Marvel! Have Daredevil join the MCU meet the Avengers and do movie that picks up where the show left off! Like if you agree.
All the shows are linked to MCU already they just not making movies of them
While it's unlikely to appear on Disney+ because its geared towards more family-friendly content, disney's acquisition of Fox means they also own Hulu which they could potentially use as a platform for they're more mature content like Daredevil
FuriousP14
Haven’t thought about that, and they did say that because the TV show was over doesn’t mean Daredevil as a whole was over, the man without fear may still have a chance
@@hybridepsilon2099 Best case scenario, it will lose quality. Our best hope is for Feige to pick it up and used it for the movies, but these characters will never have their own movies, and they'll all be toned down (Iron Fist might be improved, though)
I think everyone is assuming that Disney+ is going to gear their content in a family-friendly way, but I'm not sure how well a PG13 service would fare in the already competitive streaming market. Adults want mature content and they do pay the bills and make of the largest demographics.
3:17 - 3:48
Deja Vu! They changed something in the matrix!
I'm glad you picked up on this, I thought i was going crazy.
if punisher dies we riot
Sadly it’s inevitable that The Punisher will be cancelled. If Daredevil of all shows got cancelled, there is no hope for any other Mcu Netflix show
Better get started, because nobody is going to watch that mess.

Dare devil might be the jewel in the crown, but AOS is the rest of the crown
If this is promotion for avengers 4
dont do that to me
If they were all to appear in Avengers 4 I would cum on the spot.
I would laugh so much.
0:55 - don't forget about The Punisher, a second season is still slated for a 2019 release, it is the most likely to stay on Netflix too.
"no 4th season on NETFLIX"
4th season maybe on disney+ then?
disney+ is not going to have violent adult content
Theendingman deadpool?
nope. at most they would do the PG 13 version. Disney isn't going to ruin their family brand with an dark and R rated series.

He repeated the sentence twice
Thought I was going crazy for a second.
I can't wait to watch the family friendly, "Frozen" version of Daredevil on the cancerous Disney streaming service.
Vincent D'onofrio´s Kingpin on a PG-13 movie? GOD PLZ NO

I Can't Wake Up
Wake Me Up Inside

THEY should try the Sherlock Holmes style of putting up a few, feature length episodes every season or so with higher budget and better writing instead of antiquated tv show series style. Maybe that would improve things ... I have no clue but seems like
The quality all around may be better that way. (Aside from Netflix vs Disney thing)
I just want the punisher to come through with a few more seasons
Punisher Season 2 will come out then it'll get cancelled, same with Jessica Jones
The netflix shows are getting canceled because disney is pulling all fox and Disney content from the service. If marvel studios decides to relaunch it for future seasons it'll be on hulu which is where their more adult shows will be.
Jon Bernthal's Punisher has to stay!
Absolutely. That whole first season was off the charts good
Punisher S02 and JJ S03 will air, and then both IPs will be cancelled. DD was the strongest property, it even spun-off The Punisher, and they had to cancel it. Disney gave the order, all their properties are leaving Netflix for good as soon as they finish production
The Punisher don't work in PG-13😠
It sucks they canceled Daredevil, the main reason I got Netflix, I would be upset too if they cancel Punisher.
I didn't care about the other cancellations but this just pissed me off
Thank you for the video explanation.
Season 2 of the punisher has finished filming though so hopefully it should be coming out still
It comes out then it gets cancelled, a long with Jessica Jones
This is a sad day i loved the netflick's series I can only hope these actors can get work in otjer projects and that maybe we will see dare devil again in some other capacity
Why why why!!! Not only the best Marvel show ever made... But the best series on Netflix other than Stranger Things...!

About as infuriating when Young Justice was canceled on a cliffhanger
riot kitty why do all the good superhero shows get cancelled, ON A FUCKING CLIFFHANGER!! It’s like they want to purposely piss the fans off.
Young Justice didn't get cancelled
0:55 what about the punisher?
So let's have a crossover with Aladdin The Punisher and Daredevil sounds like a hit.
Don't forget The CGIed Lion King! First Disney "original" property, which was originally plagiarised, and now it gets recycled
Lol well for a rip off it's good. Besides Punisher will punish it.

You guys have an editing error there. A part of the video repeats
0:56 you obviously don’t know anything about anything you forgot about the punisher
He didn't forget the Punisher. Season 2 will be out soon, and the cancellation will come afterwards.
dancedj2k2 he said that daredevil and Jessica jones were the only shows still in production but in reality the punisher was also in production so yes he did forget or who ever wrote the script forgot
Don't worry, they'll cancel that too.
You have obviously never made a mistake before.
That guys a dumbass
I think the actors know more than they are saying because season 3 was the best one yet. Canceling it makes no sense.
Nice editing. You said the same sentence twice. Twice.
Kracker Karakas Did he? Did he?

We not gonna talk about the glitch in the matrix at 3:34?
All I have to say is good bye netflix
I'm in the matrix with deja vu at 3:33. This is all about the mouse getting their streaming service going and getting all it's properties back and it sucks! At least Daredevil went out on top! I said the moment the last episode finished that it felt more like a series finale and not a season finale.I'm glad the writers and producers saw the writing on the wall and closed out the series as they did. Bravo Daredevil - we will miss you!
Hulu. Disney owns Hulu. Hulu already has Runaways and it has mature content like Handmaid's Tale.
Come on editor. You left in 2 takes
I really hope they bring it back on hulu or Disney streaming service
Please Hulu. I don't need a PG-13 Disneified version of these character
NOOOOO. NO. DEAR GOD NOO. NOOOOOOO
Thumbs up for video, thumbs down to Netflix.
Thumbs down to Disney, who surely made the call for Netflix to cancel every future outing of any Disney IPs
LOL, Who edited this? @3:37
My crazy theory about this: I'm totally convinced that Netflix hates having good shows, and only allows mediocre garbage on their platform
If you were right, they would've never cancelled Iron Fist
Daredevil season 3 was literally the only reason I got Netflix and marvel is saying it had low viewership but it was the best season of any defender show
Ewan is a functional meth addict. I Envy you....
Am I having a stroke or did a part of the video repeat at 3:17?
Netflix just went crazy!!!
I hate Netflix
Not Netflix it was Disney.
Hate Disney, they are the culprits
@@kineticstar WRONG the license was too expensive for Netflix so they wanted to cut down the episodes but disney refuses and Netflix canceled.
I think you doubled a clip at 3:34....
Netflix's biggest mistake was canceling this beautiful show.
Vinny Square highly doubt they had a choice here
Don't think it was them, though...
They will be fine, they still have bojack horseman😂
You repeated the same scene about 3:40
Netflix and I are fighting
Fight Disney, they are the ones at fault. And fight Marvel as well! Once they were doing good for the first time in decades, with the kick off of the MCU they sold everything to Disney! If Marvel Studios had remained as its own, we could continue enjoying these series. But the fucking mouse showed up with tons of money and those idiots at Marvel sold the golden goose
I've read the Netflix series aren't moving to the streaming service. Reasons:
Thing is,there was technically a cliff hanger with bullseye, plus what about Punisher?
the clip at 3:30 replays twice guys.... just putting that out there
03:18 what was that?
In my opinion Jessica Jones was the worst of the 4, So why tf is it the last show standing
Wait, did he just repeat 30 seconds of the content? ( 4:15 - 4:45 )
Daredevil had a satisfying ending going back with his friends again...unlike Luke Cage or Iron Fist that ended on a cliff-hanger
LOL, I just finished the last episode last night and then I wake up to this
Sucks for fans of the shows and the people that make them, BUT it kinda badass to see somebody stand up against Disney.
Honestly, Daredevil was the most feature film ready of the Marvel/Netflix shows. Wouldn't be surprised to see him make the jump.
