Me and my gym mates were once caught in the dark during hiking and we dint have flashlight and our phones did have enough charge to support touch. It was indeed a crazy and scary night but Glory to God we all made it out of the forest alive. That's the moment we learnt its important to carry a flashlight during hike coz we dint see it as a big deal. Yo doing a good job and keep it up.
This hike had an atmosphere all of its own! Beautiful, and sometimes a little scary, nature at its best! We have experienced some night hiking in the winter months in the UK, as it can go dark at 4pm. We love it! But you are right, it is a totally different experience than hiking in the light, all your senses are on high alert, perhaps our bodies way of protecting us. Thank you for sharing your own night hiking adventure, lucky for us it isn't for you, as we enjoy seeing you capture those views too much!😊
I hate hiking on boggy ground but when you get the views, the peace and tranquilly, together with a bit of colour on the trail, it is a trade off I can accept. Just as well you had a great flashlight at the end, cheers Alan

But as the saying goes, you made a virtue out of necessity and the result is a very captivating and but also relaxed video! The moments and scenes by daylight convey such cozy feelings like a full bath in peace and serenity due to the calm images. All the small details, you captured along your path and the magnificent drone shots of the vast Swedish landscape make these feelings even more intens. I can well understand your unpleasant feeling in the hours of darkness, but the images of the cones of light are an incredibly impressive part of this video. And at least you have now gained two experiences: 1. Night hikes are not for you. 2. It's good ALWAYS to have a lamp in your daypack. Excellent work!! 👌😍💯💫🎥🔦

the problem with night hiking is that sometimes the hiker that passes you on the trail is a black or brown bear. and they dont say anything but 'huff' or 'grunt' as they pass. The quality of the light is really striking in this video and is quite an experience in itself. if we do hiking long enough, we all get caught in the twilight eventually.

Very many years since we have been caught out by darkness catching us still short of our destination. The only time I recall was deep in winter in the Alps and we did not have a torch with us! It was almost 40 years ago and it was also a lesson learned.

This is a wonderful place, it reminds me of when I visited Lake Victoria. I love night footage, the trees look mysterious, I wish the footage was longer. The soundtrack is perfect.💚

It’s definitely creepy experience and I always have a flashlight and an extra pair of batteries in my backpack.
