This one is a masterpiece. The beauty of the area puts it over the top. One day I will have a "coffee in the woods" segment and salute you! I'm glad to see that the new shoes are holding up (so far). One thing about the end ... where I live, I can't even walk along and touch vegetation like you did. The ticks have become such a problem here, that I have actually gotten ticks on me from doing just that. Also from picking up sticks off the ground. They will get one you this way, crawl up your arm and embed themselves somewhere higher. Behind the ears is a real common place to find them. If Sweden doesn't have this problem then you are all very lucky!
Thank you for this comment, the shoes are holding up ok for now, I'm satisfied! As for mosquitoes in Sweden, I have not had to intervene even once, and I have been walking in the forests and mountains for years. Maybe I was just lucky!
