These are the mechanics that we people need, honest and they know what they are doing. I also have a hilux 2.4 dx 4x4 2018 and it is hard to find an honest and good mechanic.

You are the man!! thank you for sharing. easy to follow. I used to change the shortcut way removing the cap and the filter. It is best to remove and clean the whole thing. I own a hilux and fortuner helps a lot.

Fuel filter light came on.
Replaced fuel filter at dealer.
Reset light at dealer.
Worked perfectly
Drove for 10 - 20 minutes
Fuel filter light came on again,
I reset it everyday, but it keeps coming on again.
Fuel tank has been drained and checked 3 times by
dealer, including the filter.
What do you think is the issue?

The whole black plastic that hold the fuel filter is the sensor I’m not sure about the part number mate sorry

I recommend mate every 20k or 1 year if it’s normal driving conditions 😉 but like on my work last time mining job my boss want to replaced it every 6 months due to water contamination 😉
