Yea, while that seems good and noble of her I really wish she would’ve fought back and put her in her place. Being passive can be healthy sometimes because it means you choose your battles but sometimes you have to advocate for yourself. It was the same in mine, only my brother was the golden facilitated, plamaused, much loved child and I was very much the fly in the ointment and the one who had to suck it up and get on with it. Luckily the years of experience of this type of behaviour worked in my favour when times got tough, but my brother, unequipped to deal with anything not going his way, fell at the first hurdle and took his own life as a result. These parents and siblings have ZERO idea of the hurt they cause, nor do they care. And remember, all the adversity you’ve dealt with has led you to blossom into the incredible person you’ve become. I wish you all the very best in life.
I think the older girl was just so hurt by the responses to her that she didn’t trust herself to say anything. This is obviously the mo for the younger sister…and it’s plainly worked well for her to date!!

She's not being kind and considerate: she's fiercely competitive and selfish and immature.
i can’t be the only that is seeing through her facade at the end. she was getting so much praise throughout the whole appointment and on top of that being rude and nasty toward HER SISTER. and when she saw that diane was killing it with all the dresses and finally found one she wanted, michelle got angry and decided to make another appointment covering up her selfishness by saying that she wanted her sister to have her moment despite shitting on her the entire time. (also wtf kind of entourage was that, that was horrible treatment and the mom should be ashamed of the way she treated diane. hopefully it was all for the show bc if not, i hope diane ran far away from them)

Not wrong I so agree, Little sis was more then happy when she was getting the uuuhgs and ahhs, even putting down her sister, so long as all the positive attention was on her, she was happy, until the moment the Lori had them change individually and the positive attention shifted. I would say the mom eggs the whole sibling rivalry on by picking one over the other and making them compete for her love and attention. I am proud of the older sisster for being so calm and not being rude to the younger one even tho everyones negativity.

@@bambiholmes I think both. They choose people to be on the show that have interesting angles, or perhaps sometimes they create those angles or add to them with heavy editing. By heavy, they take reactions and paste them in places they didn't happen, (like here at 00:12) or probably have the people redo their reactions, etc. I wish the people who were on the show could tell us, but they probably signed a paper that they can't.

The Baby Sister made it be all about her. When the group was all cheering her she was all smiles. However when the Big Sister captured the room it was a "MAGICAL MOMENT". I love Lori stepping in because the older sister was definitely insulted by the entire group including her younger sister and mother. Her younger sister was so mean. Totally disrespectful. The staffers never should have let that happen either. it's in all the commentary before. the subliminal comments reeking of envy. the thing is, the younger is way prettier than the older, and probably more overt. so she gets all the spotlight. but even that is not enough for her. she needs to rob the older of what she has as well. this could not happen in my house. my father would set you straight right away. but the universe is designed in it's own way. the light in the older, shines bright. way brighter, as a matter of fact.

Thank you Lori for stepping in and being the voice of reason because the girls' mother certainly wasn't it. This is how you create enmity and animosity between siblings. Don't pit your children against each other and for common sense's sake, don't compare them. And even if they do it themselves, teach them not to from childhood.
They must have wanted to be on this show as the unusual twins shopping for dresses at the same time. Because they should have had separate appointments.
So, I think what we've learned is that Michelle is her Mum's favourite daughter so she's been allowed to bully her older sister all her life and when the spotlight is taken away from her, Michelle can't cope. Great job Mum, well done.

this reminds me of my auntie(dads side) and mum. When my mum got engaged to my dad my auntie started dating my mums brother and after 2 weeks they got engaged too. and when ever my mum got pregnant she did too. to this day she copies everything my mum does, whether its dying hair or redecorating the house. she even trys to claim she has the same medical issues as my mum, its so creepy
Watching this reminded me of my sisters. I’m the middle of 3 girls and everything is a competition to them! Because of that, when my older sister was planning her wedding, younger sister kept saying “well at my wedding...”. Younger sister is now divorced and older sister is now a mom. I’m next to get married and I’m going to show them that a wedding is not about who throws the best party but which couple comes out strong, healthy, and happy.

I think the older girl was just so hurt by the responses to her that she didn’t trust herself to say anything. This is obviously the mo for the younger sister…and it’s plainly worked well for her to date!!
I know exactly how she feels ,because you grow used to that kind of treatment so it really comes natural when you hear them throw negative comments.

Michelle was constantly throwing nasty comments at Diane, then couldn't handle it when Diane looked more beautiful than her. She wasn't being all sweet in the end: she didn't give away the appointment.... there wasn't a dress she really liked and she was focused on how Diane looked and felt; she felt overshadowed so she made another appointment all for her. She's not being kind and considerate: she's fiercely competitive and selfish and immature.

(also wtf kind of entourage was that, that was horrible treatment and the mom should be ashamed of the way she treated diane. hopefully it was all for the show bc if not, i hope diane ran far away from them)

Not wrong I so agree, Little sis was more then happy when she was getting the uuuhgs and ahhs, even putting down her sister, so long as all the positive attention was on her, she was happy, until the moment the Lori had them change individually and the positive attention shifted. Then she got all butt hurt, it became all about having the bigger positive reaction and when she lost it she wanted no part in any of it. Even her proclaimed self sacrifice was an attempt to make it all about her. She was nothing but a self centered brat.

The way they describe their fiancés shows how different they are. Diane says hers is her best friend, easy to talk to, genuine, and definitely the one for her. Michelle says she likes hers because he's very similar to her -- so she's in love with herself!

@@MsJubjubbird Firstly Diane just asked to try it on and it wasn't even either of their final choice, But Michelle immediately made a very snarky comment that she was happy that it wasn't her first choice if that's what it looked like on her (when Diane tried the dress on) and at the end when Michelle didnt get any reactions and no one compared her to her sister, she was so upset that she wasn't the centre of attention and in the spot light that she forfeit trying on dresses or even choosing/looking for more options

By heavy, they take reactions and paste them in places they didn't happen, (like here at 00:12) or probably have the people redo their reactions, etc. I wish the people who were on the show could tell us, but they probably signed a paper that they can't.

The Baby Sister made it be all about her. When the group was all cheering her she was all smiles. However when the Big Sister captured the room it was a "MAGICAL MOMENT". I’m not buying this letting her sister have her moment thing. Older Sister already didn’t get all the attention because the younger sister was there trying dresses alongside her until the final dress. I feel like Michelle enjoyed getting the most compliments out of the two, and when the tables turned she couldn’t take it so wants to have an appointment all to herself instead so the attention is back on her.

Thank you Lori for stepping in and being the voice of reason because the girls' mother certainly wasn't it. This is how you create enmity and animosity between siblings. Don't pit your children against each other and for common sense's sake, don't compare them. And even if they do it themselves, teach them not to from childhood.

I’m seeing all the comments about Michelle.. which I do agree with them, BUT the MOTHER had them have a conjoined appointment (knowing how competitive they are) and not to mention she enables Michelle’s immature behavior.
Even though most is scripted it just pissed me off on how Michelle’s behavior was and how the mom just sat there and let it happen.

this reminds me of my auntie(dads side) and mum. When my mum got engaged to my dad my auntie started dating my mums brother and after 2 weeks they got engaged too. and when ever my mum got pregnant she did too. to this day she copies everything my mum does, whether its dying hair or redecorating the house. she even trys to claim she has the same medical issues as my mum, its so creepy
Watching this reminded me of my sisters. I’m the middle of 3 girls and everything is a competition to them! Because of that, when my older sister was planning her wedding, younger sister kept saying “well at my wedding...”. Younger sister is now divorced and older sister is now a mom. I’m next to get married and I’m going to show them that a wedding is not about who throws the best party but which couple comes out strong, healthy, and happy.
