@@HAP3SPEAKZ yeah I’m just full of old time song suggestions.🤪 Was really into music in the 60s and 70s. Was out of it for a long time because of career and then family issues. Now in my retirement I’ve rediscovered my love of music. I give full credit to the Queen movie which I realize wasn’t fully accurate but I really enjoyed. We had lots of great music back in the day. So glad it is being revived by you young whippersnappers.😊
I grew up with Kansas, chicago, REO Speedwagon, and other great rock bands. They were great rockers. They had some good ballads too. This is that classic and timeless rock sound that you can sing to and rock out on. I agree on the lyrics. These bands could actually give you a good rock song with lyrics that you can really get into.
This is one of the greatest songs ever written and the performance of the song unbelievable. Steve walsh on vocals and congas and keyboard crazy energy. And in concert they were incredible just their skills on their instruments next level. Then. In concert you would have steve doing handstands on the keyboards while playing and singing incredible energy. One of my all time favorite songs and bands
Just a little tidbit for you, millions of fans around the world, of an american tv series called Supernatural knows every word of this song. It plays on each season of the series and is seen as the series anthem. We sing it at conventions and use it as ring tones on our phones. Kansas appeared at the San Diego Comic con 2017 to play the song live while huge screens surrounding the hall played videos of the series and the actors we all love. I had seen Kansas in concert in my youth. Yes the band has had changes but it was still fantastic to see them live on stage again. after all this time
My favorite lyrics in this song: Though my eyes could see, I still was a blind man Though my mind could think, I still was a mad man --and-- And if I claim to be a wise man, well It surely means that I don't know
This is my favorite Kansas song!!! They have others that are also just amazing too!! HAP, you are right...that lead singer has got some talent for sure. So many people know this song but don’t know it’s by Kansas. A true masterpiece!!! 🌻🌻🌻🌻 You could grow facial hair like that if you really wanted to I bet 😂😂😂
Kansas what a great band. Loved your reaction. 1976 and the 70s all together we’re great time for musicianship. You should check out more bands from the 60s and 70s.❤️😃👍✌️🌼Love and peace. Forgot to say love the mercury mustache.👍
Watching you I decided if anyone should do reactions as their main job, it is you. Your upbeat attitude and your genuine love for music shines. It is a joy to watch! Thanks
Such a great song from my youth! It's a huge soundtrack for the long running show Supernatural. It was huge in America, not sure what their worldwide audience was like.
Oh Hap... You had me smilin' on this one. Your look , a very touching dedication to our dear Freddie, but your look along with your outfit made me feel like I was watching a ref doing a reaction at halftime at a soccer match. So cool... You've gone through many different looks since I first subbed. Thanks for reacting to Kansas and this song. I had a dear friend that OD'd on drugs and his brother played this at his funeral. Everyone in attendance was rocking by the end of the song because this was just who our deceased friend was. Take care and be well. Peace.
Back in the day when this was hot for some reason Kansas NEVER played in Nebraska. I lived there so a buddy and I had to go to Red Rocks, CA (God's Cathedral). Very well worth the trip and a nice ride on a couple of Harleys with our girls. 300 miles each way with roughly $1 a gallon for gas on bikes. Hell yeah.😎😎 I've seen them since then with the new band members in Reno (Harrah's former outdoor venue) Still killin' it. I still have this LP./Album. "Point of Know Return" and "Dust in the Wind" are two other awesome songs from that era 45 years ago. They're still played on classic rock radio. "Surely Heaven waits for you"😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
KANSAS, "CARRY ON WAYWARD SON", MID 70'S ROCK AT IT'S BEST. LEAD SINGER AND WHO ALSO PLAYED THE KEYBOARDS, AND BONGO DRUMS. IS STEVE WALSH... GREAT REACTION THOROUGHLY ENJOYED WATCHING YOU... MORE MUSIC "MAGNUM OPUS". "DUST IN THE WIND"....🤪✌
In all fairness this is a studio version song synced up with a live concert and they did a great job because he can play that synth that fast and accurate. Great song no matter.
Love me some Kansas, Hap. I adore the lyrics and guitar work of Wayward Son. Fantastic song choice amongst so many equally great Kansas works. This is used as each season's opening and closing song of the TV series Supernatural as it embodies the journey of the lead characters through the series. The song's title is also used as one of the taglines for the show.
Just discovered your channel. Great reaction! As others have said, I recommend Kansas's song "Dust in the Wind" (a totally different vibe and a slow acoustic melody) and also "Point of Know Return." These were two of their biggest charting hits besides "Carry On, Wayward Son" back in the mid- to late 1970s.
Kansas, Boston AND Queen - you're taking me right back to better times before autotune and synthesizers! Love the way this song changes pace and switches up. Try Hot Blooded by Foreigner and Spirit of Radio by Rush for a full house
Same here. I suspect if he ever hears the right song, he'll fall down the Rush rabbit hole so fast and so far, it'll be a year before he emerges. 40 years after all. My concern is Geddy's unique vocals. Maybe YYZ or LVS is a better intro?
Long time since I've head this, great track. Tried watching it yesterday but was geo-blocked for some reason...................Got a couple of suggestions for your archive if that's ok, there are no other reaction to these 2 on Utube...........1) Judy Teen by Cockney Rebel...............2) Love Is The Drug by Roxy Music. Both from the 70's Cheers Fella.
Cheers fella! Be weary -- last few weeks most of my song suggestions (for QUEEN) have been hijacked and reacted to else where I heard. So just an extra precaution to think about when leaving songs in the comment. If they some how suddenly pop up else where -- then lemme know! It`s not the universer answering your request -- no dear -- it`s an army of trolls going through my comments and stealing songs to get attention. But I will keep this channel alive. No doubt. Thanks for your suggestions as always BigMALLLY.
Trying again! This video got blocked last time around!!! wish us luck... hopefully it stays up!!! Thank you.

The 60’s and 70’s still had the best music, groups, song writers and lyricists by far
Great song a big hit in my teen years late 70’s. Give a listen to their song Dust in the Wind
Got that noted!!! Thank you Kathy. 👏🏽

They are honestly one of the best talented rock bands of the 70s if not of all time. So talented.

I grew up with all those bands as well. We had the best music of the 70s and eighties. 👍
I’m a huge Chicago fan too.
My high school years...I loved Kansas, brought back some good memories. there were so many great bands and great sounds in the 70's!!
Rock on! and keep it real! :)

This song is a masterpiece. Saw them live around 1977. Fantastic performance entire concert.
Wow you saw it fresh, I was just a punky freshman and had to listen to it on my friends turntable.

I love Kansas ❤ Steve Walsh is one of my favorite vocalists. Just like Freddie Mercury 😊
I loved the entire groove of this band!

Great reaction to a great song and band! Check out Dust in the Wind and Hold On by the same band! Great job!
Got it thank you! I learned as of late - a lot of the songs in my comments section are be reacted to else where. I think I will need to set something up to avoid them being hijacked in the future. Cheers for that comment.

I’d love a reaction to one of the best British Rock Bands, THE WHO.......”Won’t get Fooled again”, Behind Blue Eyes, Tommy,
cool - thanks for the suggestion! I got it noted. Hopefully this song suggestion does not get hijacked and then suddenly pop up else where. LOL

Just because you chose to listen to Kansas means you have a taste for excellence!
Kerry Livgren , a Christian ,was the song writer!
A like from me. Love your style, keep it up 🙂
Thank you so much!
Oh there's morefrom 70s
Check out Bob Dylan “things have changed”
Think about the song in the context of spiritual plane. Deep meaning
Please react to The Point of Know Return. By Kansas
Listen to The song The Wall
DON'T! You look great the way you are! Unless, you want to grow a 4-5 day's worth of beard. But must maintain.
Your interpretation of the lyrics are way off but that's okay.
